To get the Lego games and Gotham knights to run you need to go into device manager and disable the touchscreen, once you’ve done that boot them up and they’ll all run like a dream just after you’ve finished playing the Lego games you’ll have to remember to enable the touchscreen again. Skywalker Saga runs perfectly when you do this so do the rest. Happy gaming!
Honestly I know I'll get hate for this, but.. This game feels pretty good on 30fps and it's less jumpy, less microstutters. I can run 1080P high textures, most settings on high and I get great performance at 15W. Some games 30FPS feels like pure garbage. But this is one of those games I don't feel it's completely necessary to run at 60fps+ especially on a portable device.
The problem is not fps, but stutters and serious drops… i play 18w with no fsr on medium in 720. Normally it does 60 fps, but constantly drops by 10-15-20 fps from time to time.

whats the important watt info on this screen, APU WATT or BATT? i think BATT is the entire drain from our 40W battery right? so you consume 23.8w and the ally will last a bit longer than an hour.
It is the option called Real-Time Monitor in the command center. It is accessible through the button that looks like an arrow on the top left of the screen.
I am about to post a video on how to use the game launchers. But the basic idea is to install Battle.net from the website and then buy and install the game on Battle.net.
The video on how to access the game launchers just posted if you want to check it out! I have another one processing that goes over the settings as well.
I only play with power connected. All low settings with fsr on ballance. In performance mode it starts at 20watts 1600mhz and 70fps. But after 2 minutes the boost turns off and goes down to 15watts 800mhz and never rises again and fps is at 40.
Honestly hard to say as I don't pay much attention usually, but probably around the 2 hour mark with these settings. After work, I'll see if I can get a gaming session in and time it.
Whatever i do, i followed every step in your video and i cant get more than 40-ish fps in the same location as you. Is there something else i am missing? Some sort of specific order to activate rsr??
There is an issue with the 319 BIOS on the Ally. 317 is much faster. I have a video on how to drastically improve peformance you may want to check out.
Funny because first thing I did was turn everything down. Resolution, Frame cap, tdp, etc... I think I was using about 15watts for 40-45fps and I hadn't even turned off the core isolation or VMP yet. I really just want to play it smoothly and get over 2 hours playtime if possible which it seems I can do fairly easily. Personally I don't think there is any reason to play this handheld at anything over 60fps and am fine with 45 for myself. To each their own though.
Not sure why ud use 720p on a 1080p device. Its just not fully taking advantage of what it has to offer. As long as game doesnt linger near 30fps that makes ur eyes bleed - max all settings out
It stutters for me. I complained to my buddy that also got a rog ally at the same time, and he said it was fine and smooth. His was stuttering more than mine.
Got my Asus ROG ally today. The game freezes randomly and stops working. I see other ppl are playing fine on their Ally. Ive installed and updated everything, but still not working.
First, make sure AAA games are on the hard drive and not a MicroSD card. I would also try other games and see if you have the same issue.
