Ah chinese workers are good hard working people but they lack the attention to detail that a lot of estabilished foreigner has. They are good at following orders and maintaining schedules but lacks the knowledge to finish something with robust consideration into all spects of the products use.

Hi again. The traditional parks in Suzhou and Beijing are private parks, which were supposed to be maintained by many staff to serve a small group of people. I was born in Suzhou. The old housing with little garden was infested with mosquitos in summer, and cold in winter. Same with the forbidden city, tall and cold, poor lit even during daytime. It's not a great place for the working people to stretch after a long day. That's why I prefer botanical garden than the Suzhou garden. Birkenhead, Versailles palace and Central park really set the bar for modern city parks.
The SUZHOU style parks just like private place, small but exquisite. BUT China have the huge population, we need some huge public park to do outdoor activities. Chengdu is big city with mix culture, it can keep traditional parks and western style parks in one city.
We should not only carry forward the traditional culture, but also learn from the good western culture! Cultural exchanges can bring mutual understanding and contribute to the harmony and progress of mankind

多样化是好的，就像吃多了中餐换换口味吃顿西餐也不错，但这不等着说西餐就爱中餐好吃，那些张嘴就说什么西方设计师靠谱的人，我只能说你见识太少，或者你根本不懂得一个公园设计的背后逻辑是什么，还或者需要补钙了，当年有一阵子各地都流行找外国设计师，但现在就少多了，知道为什么嘛？很多规划局和建委的人会告诉你，他们靠谱的不多。
对呀，城市规划 园林 其实是中国传统建筑师 的 强项，用 西方设计师真的是不合适。中国 苏州园林 的人与自然和谐统一的理念 比 西方设计师 疯狂破坏自然资源 破坏生态的想法 先进多了。而且其实 西方做的好的 建筑设计师 根本不用 来中国，一般来中国的西方设计师都是 在 西方国家 找不到工作的 设计做的太差的人white trash 才来中国。
