I'm only 15 but I've been spending so much time in the past two years, even more as of late, refining my interests regarding fashion. I can already tell with how much the things I value in fashion have changed since the beginning of the pandemic that I've matured a lot but clearly, my journey isn't even close to over. Im a big metalhead and working on a nice outfit style. Already made myself a battlejacket and have bandshirts for many years. But for a few years I also combine that with (faux) leather leggings/pants. Now I am looking for nice boots and I am thinking about the Demonia Camel 203 or Wave 150 both patent black. I normally wear sneakers aswell but I would like to change that to nice platform boots.
PS im a guy and I know patent leather is normally feminine but I just prefer patent leather over standard leather look or matte

Don't think I'll ever stop wearing Jordans air maxes boost etc however I do wanna try explore boots I just don't know where to find the style I'm looking for. I do prefer combat\military boots similar to Yeezy boots and the new botega duck boot but alas I won't buy into that unitl I can. In terms of loafers maybe one good pair but I can't imagine me doing that however those slip on botega quilted shoes (I know you know) those are grails especially that cream colour

Doc Martin’s are mostly crappie boots. Check out The Rose Anvil’s yt channel, he cuts boots and shoes in-half and talks about the quality and craftsmanship. 10/10 would recommend.

in terms of entry level boots they're a great option if you dont wanna commit fully just yet but i suggest anyone to go for them first to feel out if boots are for you if you're leaning more towards thinking boots are something that would suit your style id invest in something a bit more substantial like guidi ann d or anything or that nature whatever suits your personal style // as you said you can get them resoled and the quality is a whole lot better making the cost per wear a lot more efficient
