Not what you think of it. The students could blackmail the teacher for better grades. The teacher could make a slave out of the student. If you think it ok wait until he/ she is out of school before you do anything.
It's never fair to the student, no matter how well meaning the teacher is trying to be in the situation. At high school and college age, students don't know what they don't know. The second that they get heavily influenced by an older potential partner, their normal and organic development stops. They stop exploring and growing with others their age. They unwittingly mold nearly all of their interests to be in harmony with the older love interest's. By the time that someone has enough years of time, experiences, and education to become a teacher, that person has hopefully had a lot of self-discovery. They rob the younger partner of the same growth and development opportunities. Then you add in the additional layer of a teacher, mentor, authority figure, and a person that is idolized by many. The misplaced hero worship and the power differential can both skew the interpretation of feelings, while also potentially victimizing a vulnerable, younger, and probably inexperienced person who has only recently started their adult life. Teachers are old enough to know better. Think of the rules that forbid psychiatrists and doctors from being inappropriate with their patients. Society recognizes that the relationship itself has a high probability of manipulation, even if done unintentionally.
You do have a point but what happens if the student is older then the teacher and I should know because I’m that student and I fell in love with my teacher and there is 5 year gap between him and me and we have been together for the last 20 years now
"I ❤'d the beautiful story, wish that every person who ever wanted a real chance at a truly positive and hopeful, chance at real love, could see their hopes realized.

Great story
A better story than other recent ones, helped by being less cliche.

Forbidden things are always too tempting tbr😅
Ohhh, Castiel and Dean Winchester ❤❤ my poor beating heart❤
I don't think a teacher and a student should have a relationship now. After they graduate that's another story
Beautiful story! :)
Sweet story.
Generally I do not support teacher/student relationships
yet that is minors/adults.
ok if both are adults.
More please.
