I think a sofa bed would make more sense in this space, that way your have more space and the possibility of someone staying with you 😊 and it would help the space to look not so crowded as time goes by and you need more space
That bed in the wardrobe room makes me feel claustrophobic 😆 i need it out 😂

Love the new wardrobe. It must’ve taken soo many hours to complete! Have you considered removing the bed, and replacing with a sofa bed? That way you can have way more space to dress, work, and can sit on a couch to get dressed/put shoes on.Then can convert to a bed when guests come. Anyway you’re my favorite and biggest style inspiration. Keep doing what you do ! 😘

I would likely remove the bed and get something smaller or convertible. This way you’d have better access to the shelfs. For dust and light reasons I would also get doors for the closets. It would also instantly make the room look very organized and neutral. I wonder if the mirror could be placed on the side of the windows, so you would have natural light. This way you could could also pull the closet towards the middle of the wall to free the wall where the headboard now is and give the overall layout more symmetry. (home decor is totally my thing lol sry)
As someone who’s designing her own closet too for my new home, would love to see the other wardrobe storage too

check out wardrobe ikea hacks. If you put the shelves together and attach a simple moulding ( like the panel moulding on your walls), and a crown moulding at the top and on the sides to hide the holes for shelf adjustment, then you have very expensive looking built in cabinets. Would be stunning in this historic apartment. Cheers!

Love it! As someone with many many probably to many rhinestone headbands I wouldn't keep it with my tights or stockings it will cause a run. I would keep it on 1 of your felt drawer organizers or on some thick tissue on a shelf.

Love your new closet. One idea is to do a sleeper Sofia and a cushioned ottoman with a tray to be a coffee table for the sofa but also a place to sit when putting on shoes. If the cushioned ottoman had a removable top you could have added out of season storage. With this set up you still have a bed for guest, but more room and a sofa in a wardrobe looks great.

Looking great! Consider a sofa bed ..more space and maybe change position of the mirror so that the light is on you. Watch out for ‘peeping toms’ and cover the windows while changing. Speaking from experience! 😏
Definitely recommend you to switch your bed to a sofa bed as the space looks too cramp and the suitcases on top ... just spoilt the beauty of your closet 🤪..... beautiful room though and Ikea closets are the best in my opinion!

Hi Tamara, it turned out really well. Please consider securing the ikea furniture to the wall if you can since the heavy clothes could cause them to topple. That could be scary for sleeping guests or for you when you are changing. It looks lovely and thanks for sharing the process with us.

There is a pole you can buy, that can hook onto the hanger and lift it down from the high rails .... easy ...I had one in London ❤️

some kind of white or beige pull out sofa bed would be nice instead of that current bed you have. It’d look much nicer and you’ll have more space
I think if you need more storage you can use the space where the mirror is and just hang the mirror on the door of that room or put some storage with a door where you can hang the mirror

It looks amazing‼️ I installed an extendable valet rod in my closet to display outfits.
Tamara think you should get a pull down bed from the wall or get a inflatable bed which are good it looks like a suitcase and it becomes a double bed in seconds then you have more floor space and you could have a movable island with lots of drawers and because it’s on wheels you just easily move if you have guests and room for the bed wardrobes are great good job stay safe stay beautiful ❤️

The pic of the girl with a cigarette in her mouth is a high fashion pic! I remember years and years ago seeing lots of pics similar to that of people with cigarettes in their mouth or just holding one! Even Carrie Bradshaw was written to smoke in the show even though Sarah Jessica Parker didn’t smoke herself! There’s no need for anyone to be offended by it 🤣

Did you get the Mirror from ikea ?
If you ever want to minimize the squeaky floors you can. Sprinkle lock lubricant, talcum powder, or powdered graphite into the joints between the floorboards. Then place a cloth over the boards and walk back and forth to work the powdery lubricant down into the cracks.

I think for the bottom drawer under the jewelry you can keep your fashion undergarments.. the things you need to get dressed but not really regular underwear that you’d normally wear so you don’t have to run between the two rooms if you realize you have on the wrong bra or wrong pantie or need tape etc. :)
