Thnx for the demo. I was on the verge of buying one BUT: 1. That noise is about the sound level of my cordless handheld vac defying stealth capability 2. I definitely would buy the electronic mike accesory for more voice clearness
I dislike that the end connector is both a straight and Isreali style connector, but buying one of the original c420 hoses shouldn't be expensive and can fix both those issues
i cant wait for their new mask coming out, i think its just the respirator portion. I will use it to ride my bike with the poor air quality in ca summers with wild fires blazing.
use that mask to ride your bike you might as well write your will, No mask is meant for cardio activities , All these masks are a temporary solution they are not meant to be used in your intended method .
Dude you have bumped your head if you think your going to ride a bike with a mask on. I advise you to just try breathing with one first. You have to have the best cardio in the world to do that.
I am thinking about getting one of these PAPRs just in case. One thing I noticed on the video is it seems fairly noisy. Not sure if it is really that loud or if it is just the sensitivity of your microphone. Definitely not for sneaking around with. LOL
@@squarelyprism using a full face respirator and P100 (NIOSH rated ) or P3 (CEN rated) without a PAPR would suffice for virus protection. MIRA also sells them. as for the harness strap for your unit, its supposed to be worn in the back like a backpack.
The batteries used with the c420 are expensive and hard to find. Making a PAPR that is built from the ground up to use a AA battery pack seems like a good compromise. It's already an expensive niche product without adding expensive niche batteries to the price.
Maaaaaaaaaan that sure is noisssyyy!! Wish that had a more quiet setting as opposed to just ON and OFF.
Yeah i agree
Lol I think the military people would be wearing ear phones maybe and or a mic

Excellent product but would be even more awesome if the DB levels were much lower.
I agree
on mira's instagram i saw a guy put the pack on his back as opposed to having it in the front
I think most of the time they're meant to be worn on the back, he could've just had it on the front to show it off better to the camera
@@sc7956 i actually did not know to be honest. It was not explicit enough but also yeah it seemed easier to film to be honest :)
How well do they work after taking a 5.56 or .308rd..lmao..
Probably not well haha

Oh cool to know! Which issues specifically? Like the noise?
@Cave Hill - MIRA has since fixed one part of that. The end that connects to the mask, now has a 90 degree, swivel connector on it.
Hello, I enjoyed watching the video.
I have a question. Do you think MB-90 PAPR Battery Pack will fit other c420 PAPR?
I am not sure. It’s a good question
Good job. Great video!
thank you :)

AA batteries one of the most common batteries and they say up to 12 hrs run time. Why new low?
