Being a viral infection, chicken pox has a propensity to spread and affect people at home. With proper care starting from early days , you can prevent the chicken pox scars to appear in the first place and even if they do appear, some extra measures can heal them well in time. Here is a brief guide.

Safe to use antibiotic creams are FUSIDIN CREAM, MUPIR OINTMENT, BACTROBAN OINTMENT AND POLYFAX OINTMENT. Oral antibiotics have to be prescribed by a doctor. Antiviral medicines are also advised by doctor if he feels the need. For scars start using bapscar gel or Scar care gel when the puss dries and scabs fall off. A consultation is worth at the point of scars because sometimes few lasers are also advocated for them.

Use plain Fudic cream. Since it is a viral infection, there is no point in using hydrocortisone.
