Aaron Colton is an absolute bad dude on a motorcycle. The globetrotting stuntman can do things on two wheels, or one wheel for that matter, that most only dream about. Building and maintaining his fleet of bikes in Garage 93, the full-blown race shop attached to his home, Colton has built a solid reputation for the epic builds he’s produced over the last few years.
For this year’s Red Bull Day in The Dirt he decided it was time to build and race the dirt bike he dreamed about as a kid: a 2006 YZ125. Follow Colton into Garage 93 for Episode 1, as he goes all-in on his two-stroke dream build and gets it dialed in for the Fastest Party in Town.

I want to find me a cheap 2-stroke 125 as a project. An upgraded restoration. Fully build a performance engine. Fuel injection push button start. Upgrade the shocks. Street tires . Repainted, new decals. Make it look brand new and street legal. Using the best eBay and Amazon has to offer.

I wanna get a ktm excf 250 but the best priced one in my area needs an engine rebuild but if nce that's done I'm gonna put some super motor tires on

nop so i took it home and rebuilt the carb and replaced the throttle cable...

i met Aaron this summer at a global rallycross race in Daytona beach. He had his Grom and FZ-09 and i went and talked to him for a good 5 minutes and he talked to me like he was just a normal guy. he's a super guy to talk to and man can he ride. not to mention can he build a sicccccck bike... wish my Grom and motard were as bad as his were lol
all the people saying "you could have bought a new bike". Maybe the guy enjoys building up something that he envisioned from the start, for the people who have rebuilt a old rat and turned it into a show room piece, it is a great feeling of achievement. plus when you build it yourself you have the options of customization, what color scheme of parts, graphics, engine work, suspension work. That bike was built to his standards of riding and what he prefers so I am sure glad to see a older bike restored and custom to the rider still ripping it and even beating out the new bikes 💯✋👍 great build.

I am thinking about getting a 2005 yamaha yz125 roller but I dont know how to build it. The owner says I just Need a engine and carb but dont I need exhaust and other stuff. Does anybody know things exact parts I need to get the bike running.hmu for pictures

i would do it for you if i had the money for new parts and places to sand blast parts , i love taking stuff apart and rebuilding them , i recently rebuilt a yamaha rhino 450 and it was a little hard but only with the fuel pump

Fr3ShPRiNC3 most of it is easy you just need to watch someone take a bike apart , they are generally the same setup so it would be easy to tell what part is what and where it goes , im only 16 and i've rebuilt i think 7 engines in my life
useddiaper 1234 I'm 17 this is my first big bike , if I knew I had money laying around to fix whatever I broke if I messed up I wouldn't be so hesitant . But I plan on rebuilding my top end this winter myself even tho it's only about 25 hours on it and all types of other upkeepings
Fr3ShPRiNC3 yeah , good for us we have a welder and my uncle is very good with it so anything metal wise we can do , we once broke the frame on a i think yamaha or honda prairie , a work four wheeler , jumping some small hills around a cell phone tower lol but we welded it back together
