I have always been laughed at for using an orange ball float , that has always worked for me , so what's the difference when using the different sized waggler floats ,might sound like a stupid question but I am still new to fishing .
Hi Danny, have you ever tried Budworth mere, I believe it is a hard water but when they turn up they are unbelievable

I fish on a lake in czech republic, which is full of tench but they are not that big they are like 25 to 35 cm so not really big but you get a bite every 10 minutes when its a good day

If the was only one species of fish I could only ever catch for the rest of life it would definitely be the roach but I've not reached the 3lb mark yet but have had two two and half Pounders
