Totally a newer fan of her. I’ve been unfamiliar but definitely had no clue the depths of lyricism and little subtle hints/Easter eggs, until the big C hit. Hearing that Vernon (one of my absolute top artists) did a song with her, I naturally (admittedly, somewhat reluctantly) went to hear it. Writing is a cathartic hobby I enjoy, but I’m shocked I never realized just how talented swift is with her writing. It’s really something to wonder and drool over. The amazing beauty that oozes from her every word is unmatched. Truly. There’s a few poets I say that about and definitely less artists in this “era”. I’ve enjoyed learning more about her as an artist, and even more as a person. Her brain works in overdrive like many of us, but there’s very few who have the ability to imagine and execute. Especially to this level. I’d say you’re one of those few. Your story is completely admirable to me and I’m an old hag that is totally irrelevant. However, I hope my pining over your own “lyricism” with which you speak and explain gives you a little pep. From this fallen tear drop to a lovely bewildering star. 🤗🤗💗💗💜💜

@@theswiftologistThanks!!🥰 If anyone is curious the jacket is from ASOS, the dress is originally Oh Polly but I got second hand from Vinted after a lot of keyword searching, the shoes are Head Over Heels by Dune & the stars are from Amazon (they are meant to be iron on rhinestones but I did not trust that to hold so I used a hot glue gun), finally I got sequins from a local craft store and had help sewing them on to the bust and straps😊 Also I did bring some of those roll up flats with me to change into so I could actually jump up and down!!

I went to the 1989 concert dressed as a whale because of the yes whale. People didnt understand it. The meme was dumb anyways but 14 year old me had put so much work work into it. Bless her heart.
I love the outfit of the girl, who's embroidered each flower Taylor has ever referenced in her songs onto a dress. Sooo beautiful, creative, and definitely something you could wear outside of the eras tour. If you do a part 2, please include her! And obviously, loved the video as per usual ✨

Unfortunately I can't find the video (despite trying for a long time), I think it might have been deleted :-( I saw the video on instagram, but I'm 99% sure it was originally a TikTok video, but I don't have a TikTok account so I can't look for it there. :-(

these are so great! :) I LOVE that concerts have become basically comic con for the artist...beyonce, florence and the machine, taylor swift shows have all become red carpet events. not pictured in this video but by far my fav so far: the two that went as flames (twin flames) and had blue paint in their hand.

At the Gillette show in Mass, my 30 year old daughter and I were in cute outfits that got covered by rain ponchos and we were drenched like drowned rats! Even my husband was along for the experience and like a trooper, was soaking wet! We didn't care, it was worth it!!

I’m 56 yes old. Took my three daughters. I wore a sophisticated sparkly maroon top with “midnight” black velvet pants. My earrings were glittery cheap -ass screw -top rose bottles. My daughters represented lover, lover, reputation! We were a slayin family on the best night of our lives!

I'm a new swiftie (though listening to Taylor since 2011), and your work (and the AMAZING podcast) is of great help for me to get to know as much as I can before I get to see the Eras tour in Paris next year ! I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your smart, nuanced, articulate and always deliciously fun point of view and insight. I'm french, still trying to improve my english skills and you're helping a lot for that as well. You're the only TS related creator with such a refreshing, rich and anti "yes man" energy around. Your sense of humor is one that I share, your intense passion is very communicative and the arguments you set for your opinions (good or bad) only make me love her and her work even more with each video.
By the way, is 33 too old to become a self-proclaimed swiftie ? 😅 I just feel so lucky to have SO MUCH to unpack in hindsight, I really am a little obsessive as I often am and Taylor gives plenty of very sensible reasons to be. My loved ones are annoyed. My companion tolerates it, likes folklore and evermore but doesn't seem to appreciate the incredible chance he has to be promised to get dragged to the Eras tour in may, with great seats, at that lol but I'm sure she'll grow on him over the next months.
About that, a video idea I could suggest that I don't think you've ever done yet would be about the swifties themselves, a little analysis and roast of the various categories, how you'd sort them out, your personal experiences over the years with each of them, maybe in the spirit of a meme. I think it could be fun !

The middle outfit at 17:30 is definitely just meant to be a recreation of Taylor's outfit in I Bet You Think About Me (sitting with the kids)-- I sort of attempted to do this look myself but had to resort to a Plan B at the last minute lol

My fave eras atm are folklore, midnights, and reputation, but the way I dress on the daily and my personality is more lover-like, so I will wear Lover inspired outfit just so I can re wear it on other occasions 🥂🤪
I tried really hard to think outside the box for my outfit, I ended up putting together a look based on my 3 favorite albums/Eras (Speak Now, Midnights and Reputation). Had the 13 on my hand (that was black with green snakes), a quote from Rep down my arm and purple Converse for Speak Now, my Anti Hero shirt and the album cover makeup for Midnights and snake earrings and hair clips for Reputation 🤷🏻♀️ I loved it and I was super comfy, it was basically shorts and a tee shirt but also tried hard to represent my top 3 albums

I think they all do Lover cause it's easy, kind of "normal" for the travel to and from, and it's flattering to all kinds of people. It's scarier to look badass than sweet and pretty and girly

I think lover is a fun one for outfits. I'm an evermore folklore stan but I wear a lot of cosy green/brown outfits on the daily, also I often wear a black dress and red lip for parties, so if I'm going to an era's tour I'm going for a pastels and sparkles!

One of my favorites I saw was the mirrorball dress Taylor wore to an awards show - featured in miss Americana. A couple people at my show were wearing that and looked amazing.
