I own a Rog Ally and a Ayaneo 2; Personally I can't go back to Ayaneo products or Ayaneo company (I have my reasons) because my opinion the Rog Ally feels so good to play on and is really comfortable. (My opinion)
If Ayaneo took a break from releasing new products and supported their older products even half as well as Valve, I’d consider spending their asking prices. I really liked the Air Plus but I read as many nightmare stories as I do good reviews for them as a company.

@@ryuno2097ou have to keep in mind that this is based off PC architecture meaning there will be yearly models due to PC tech being upgraded regularly, and because it's PC architecture all games are backwards compatible. They may release a new model, but provided the old hardware meets specs, you can continue to play. And it's not like console tech where the stores get discontinued, you can still keep running your device for years as long as it meets minimum specs. Whereas with the console generations, even though they can be backwards compatible because they're using PC hardware, not all games get brought forwards and some require you to rebuy the game or pay for the upgrade. On PC, if you upgrade your PC you can still play the game and crank up the settings.
Yeah just ordered mine last week. Loved the aya Neo 2, but feel this will be a nice upgrade, in order to play certain games at a more stable frame rate, and will handle ps3 emulation flawlessly! Aya Neo devices just look so premium and compact for me. Had the Rog ally for nearly a week, and it’s just not my taste.
I have the Geek an absolutely love it. However price to performance you just cant beat the Ally. I do plan on getting the motherboard upgrade for my Geek though. Both the Ally and AyaNeo are the best of the best imo.
Who are they trying to compete against at that price point? The idea of a portable gaming system is both the portability AND the price. If the portable system is even more expensive than an actual desktop console and budget gaming PC, then you're already lost more than half of your market when they would prefer a more budget-friendly handheld even if had a lower spec (and especially if the company has better QA and customer service).
The ram and storage options are great. I wish Asus would catch up there. That graphics port they have is great, but sort of hampered by the limited memory and more storage is always good.
I had to cancel my neo 2s and ordered an ally, cuz if something goes wrong with the machine having to send back the whole thing back to chine will be super expensive
I think they mean all around power. These things come with like 64 gb of ram so you'd have no problem cranking every game to ultra and getting perfect performance but I'd still go with the ally bc it's cheaper and works just as good.
I love the idea of having dedicated portable gaming consoles but the prices need to drop. Unless you don't need a phone or a tablet which are cheaper if you factor in you can play games and make a phone call

a native 720p panel would be best since pc games are really hard to run on these devices. There is no reason for a 1080p panel if the games are running in way lower resolution and being upscaled anyway.

My Neo 2 was fine, thankfully (although the import fees were £170 ish). The OneXplayer 2, which had to be sent back, features a MicroSD slot that wouldn't hold the card. Joy.
Clean design, looks more comfy than the Asus ROG Ally, but the AyaSpace Interface is "hot garbage". (not my words, I give credit to Wulff Den) But we should wait 3 months later since the Ayaneo 3 will be coming out... these devices are all in beta hardware/software.

Gpd win 4 has a keyboard and a touchpad and a psvita like design and is smaller. In terms of performance, and usability, they are the same. Aya neo 2s has a slightly larger battery. They all have the same ports,controls(win 4 has 2 back buttons), egou support, storage upgrades and many more. It all dawns down to preference. Win 4 also has a landscape display which is only important when playing older games and also has native 40,60 and 75hz refresh rates
Hi. I would prefer it not to have that glass casing on the front. I have seen several Aya Neo with the glass broken due to falls, it doesn't seem very durable.

It is a big company so you know you’re getting your supports after purchasing. 3. I've bought electronics from China multiple times. Now they're always as helpful as they try to be but usually you'll have to do some work around to get support just bc theyre in Asia
I don't care what Anyone says Rog Ally in my opinion is way better than the Ayaneo 2s. Rog Ally + XG mobile will beat Ayaneo 2s + Thunderbolt (performance). I heard this one doesn't have the oculink but the next one will.
The aya neo 2s is a little faster than the rog ally because of the 7500mhz ram but its negated by it only having a 60hz screen. While it may reach higher fps the screen is only capable of displaying 60 frames per second.

This. The ayaneo 2s now on indeigogo for 16GB ram and 512GB storage is 950$ eary bird price which will end in about 40days time. At that price point, it gives you faster ram, larger battery, better egpu support, hall sensor sticks, 2280 easy to upgrade ssds, more ports, better screen quality for 250$ more than the Rog Ally. I will even get the Geek 1S which has all the same features but has an 800p display instead of 1200p display for only 700$
you might want to mention the hall effect controller and you should also mention how dim they get.......only the steam deck really gets dim enough that u can play in bed next to your wifey.......most are a bit too bright for that.

At that price point, it gives you faster ram, larger battery, better egpu support, hall sensor sticks, 2280 easy to upgrade ssds, more ports, better screen quality for 250$ more than the Rog Ally. I will even get the Geek 1S which has all the same features but has an 800p display instead of 1200p display for only 700$

you might want to mention the hall effect controller and you should also mention how dim they get.......only the steam deck really gets dim enough that u can play in bed next to your wifey.......most are a bit too bright for that.
