Share with others in congratulating you on 20k.🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏 Wildlife fanatic here so this was right up my street. You share some of my Sister's oppinions of Chester Zoo. Though I personally love it there. Have done since I was a kid.
It's very hit and miss with me... you definitely get a good walking work out but sometimes the enclosures just need some ease of access for public to see either from above or something like the really clever walkthrough tunnel in the tiger enclosure here. Appreciate the support Dave, videos like these are certainly evergreen over time videos and some just spike instantly... it really is a balancing act!
@LiftHillsandThrills I take your point about Chester. Particularly with some of the newer areas & exhibits. I was actually pushing a wheelchair on my last visit & that was tricky on times. With Chester, it's a sort of nostalgia thing with me. Similar to yourself with Alton Towers.
My local zoo, loved it as a kid. Fun fact, the developers of Donkey Kong Country based Donkey Kong and his family off of Gorillas in Twycross Zoo. Technically Donkey Kong lived in this zoo at one point!
@@LiftHillsandThrills Nintendo Life have a good article about it under ‘Month of Kong’ and I think GamesRadar+ and a few other gaming news sites do. Give it a quick Google and there’s some info!
does going to the shop 3 times count as being in there for ages? hahah! plus i thought i was very reserved with my 1 mini shark plush and 2 pins and lanyard :)
Do you remember the old PG tips adverts where chimps were dressed up like humans and it looked like they were talking? The chimps they used were from twycross and they did shows at the zoo where they dressed the chimps up and sat them at tables where they would pretend to drink tea. Obviously it stopped when the world realised it was cruel.
haha really?! Bloody hell... I mean I remember the advert very well but had no idea it was Twycross related. Same with another comment RE: Donkey Kong, had no idea they came to Twycross to research the movements to inspire DK
@@LiftHillsandThrills yes, there used to be a small exhibit about the chimps that were used but again, i think the zoo distanced themselves from it all later on. No, i didn't know the DK fact either.
@@LiftHillsandThrills The West Mids rooms are pretty stunning, but until I have WWM Tims budget I'll be sticking to the premire inn next to the local animal farm 😁
A lovely little trip to Twycross zoo, visit their official website for tickets and more info - twycrosszoo.org
I remember when I was young they used to have elephants in the Hippo enclosure. That's why it's space is so big. I think they left 2017 time
Other than the penguins I thought the vast majority of the enclosures were well sized
Thanks for the great video Sean !!
Thanks for watching it Tom!
Yes Sean! You know I love the zoo content!
👊
Another wonderful outing with Sean and Hayley! Interesting zoo...
haha it's always a funny time with Hayley!
Hayley’s backpack 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
She’s building up a collection!
Great vid 😁
Cheers Harry

Donkey Kong Country was developed by Rare who are based near Twycross, so there’s every likelihood.
Well one for getting 20k subs!
Thank you!
Looks good! Can't argue with £25-£30 for a year either.
The VIP upgrade pass at £55 is ridiculously good value considering all the other zoos you can visit with it!
I'm visiting there can't wait the amazing experience tick tock mama and her family
Have a lovely time
Omg i went there and went to the soft playy

Ah Twycross Zoo - my most visited Zoo (pay once, come back all year. Get ya money worth) and despite that, I think I've only seen 4 animals lol.
I genuinely have NO idea where that tiger was...not indoors.. not outdoors... maybe back doors? aha

If you like Tigers (and burning your money 😁) you should try the Tiger Rooms at Pairi Daiza.
They are MILES cheaper than the West Mids rooms!

Love the Eminem reference 😂
