I had the privilege of being one of the TIPA artists who worked under the guidance of Kungo Tsering Wangyal during his time as TIPA director. In 1988, we toured England, Scotland, and Switzerland, followed by a tour across all four Scandinavian countries in 1990. This period was both challenging and demanding for TIPA. I deeply admire his leadership and unwavering dedication to our community throughout his lifetime. A salute to Kungo Tsering Wangyal la!
I wish you had introduced closed captions for those of us who don't know Tibetan. I'm guessing it has to do with escape from Tibet? Unfortunately TH-cam doesn't provide auto translation from Tibetan.
I really need to figure out a quick way to add subtitles. Yes, my dad's escape from Tibet to India and being able to go to the west to study as a young boy and also his experience as a public servant for over 3 decades.
