Considering how the old star prize was quite often a speedboat even if the contestants lived nowhere near the sea, couldn't drive one or had no interest in it, at least the TV is more likely to be used. And it's easier to give away/sell on if they don't want it.
Always hated Dave's Bullseye. They never throw the darts properly. Not saying I hate Jim's Bullseye I love Jim's Bullseye they throw the darts properly in Jim's one unlike Dave’s one.

So I'm not the only one that thinks the throwers were considerably worse than in Jim's day.
This series of Bullseye was crap. It was a hell of a lot better when Jim Bowen hosted it.
