There must be a mode in which you can select the ghost of your choice to practice some matches with it maybe so that you can get some experience of how every ghost works?? for newer players without the risk of loosing their items!!!
That would be nice for bug testing honestly. I think I would just play normally with the 1/24 for the excitement though
I am sure the devs can do that for themselves but I feel like they prefer to keep the details a black box. It's not like they tell us the exact percentage of, say, how more often oni does ghost events than other ghosts. So I doubt they will ever make selecting a ghost possible

@@shahrozgaming1237Are you forgetting that this is meant to be an horror game? Deo is meant to be a ghost to scare people that get too comfortable in hiding places. And also is a ghost meant to teach newer players about looping.
@@ppvsonicspy I also know to loop but I can't loop coz I don't have a gaming pc it gives me 20 to 30 fps that's why I just hide from it.
I love how the ghost is slowly feeling more like it’s actually in the word interacting like with dots it’s not random anymore buts it’s actually the ghost, and how the paramic actually plays in game sound based on where it is pointing rather then just decibels on a screen with no audio - so immersive

One perfect example case saying all about the ghost was when I found clearly freezing -10C and ultraviolet evidences, later that game I accidentally found a fingerprint with 6 fingers, I checked the journal but there was no Obake to chose from ghost list by the evidences collected so far, so one ghost crossed my mind.....The Mimic. It was such good feel and I felt glorious (btw I did this week's Primitive challenge so only thermo,UV and book were at my disposal 😄
That's so crazy! Like mimic and spirit are just a big middle finger to players 🤣 but to find obake prints and know full well it's not an obake has got to feel good!
4:00 The problem is, if you take too long to walk into the ghost, and it was in fact a Phantom, you might find yourself thinking you lost 15% sanity from that ghost event when in fact it was 10% from the ghost event and the rest from the Phantom ability. Now we have to make sure to only count it if you touched the ghost almost instantly.
paramic also have this bug that if you have it on and rotate it in your inventory, and pick back the item,, it will cancel the annoying noise of the DOTS...
I love these massive no evidence sessions, it's the best to listen to whilst doing something else, I'd love to have more in the future

I could see a Phasmo style board game that works similar to Betrayal at the House on the Hill. Where eventually someone becomes a ghost type and the players have to gathrt evidence to stop the ghost and escape.

saw my first polterthrow today gaming with a couple friends. it was neat. its cool having just learned all the behaviors and being able to implement that knowledge in game. a huge thanks to your videos and guides, theyve helped make the game a lot more fun for me

4:21 when it comes to Banshee - only target is able to touch the ghost, other people cannot be affected by Banshee's ghost events

The raiju on the first round also used its early hunt ability, as it only lowered your sanity from 77-57 from the two ghost events.
Been watching your videos for a bit and didn't realize how much stuff i was learning. Had a demon last night playing with a friend and it hunted at 73 sanity and i just told my friend we got the ghost we are good. And then explained to him why and was just like I owe all this knowledge to you Insym

100% DOTS. I'm too chicken to play phasmo. CSPPI is more my speed and it still gives me nightmares pepehands. However! I love watching listening to these vids in the background while I'm gaming. I can't/dont pay attention too closely but phasmo is such a granular and detailed game but it's your enthusiasm that makes it so fun to spectate. I wish I could go back to being a truckie, it was so helpful on maps like high school and asylum...honestly wish they would bring back asylum for multiplayer lobbies that really want the challenge. There was nothing more terrifying as a truckie than seeing someone getting run down by a rev on high school.
Ive had a Phantom hunt me in the Sunny Meadows lobby immediately when its' ghost room was the Operating Room. They can absolutely "teleport" exactly like Wraiths do. You can call it roaming to you but it's basically The Flash. I did 100 ghosts before they changed custom difficulty and that was one consistent thing about Phantoms the 4 times i got them. I also died to all 4 of them.

Just a random thought I had. What if the T1 flashlight had the same light beam as T2 but it would slowly fade, and the player would need to recharge it by holding the interaction/flashlight button.
I mean, wouldn't that be cool? It might make it more interesting than it is now since T1 gives barely any light and is not really fun to use. What do you think?
Edit: it could be like the one of those where you have to squeeze a lever on the side of a handle a bunch of times to power it.
so something like the flashlight from Amnesia: The Bunker? that sounds so cruel (both in a good and bad way)

42:19 But I see it clearly. The thing is if both of interactions during twinteraction increases the activity chart with the same amount of strength, the line is gonna be straight. In this case you should look at the duration of line, if it's takes two seconds (one square width) it's two consecutive activities (in this case it's 2+2)

Okay wait, with the new female ghost motion sensor trick, there *is* an interesting thing you can check with it. Obake shapeshift. If it's mainly a small girl model, and suddenly gets detected by the motion sensor, then it could mean it's an Obake that's shapeshifted? That sounds like it could be really nifty and maybe the reason for why they changed it.

The developers should add goosebumps to the mechanics of the game to help find the ghost room on bigger maps. Like the hair on the character's arm stand up the closer you get to ghost map. Maybe as a setting or with a particular item you can sense the ghost's location better.
24:24 they should make it so if the ghost is in front of you (not visible), the freezing breath gives a hint of it

Honestly I get confused about which ghost drain and how they drain sanity and by how much. A video going through using sanity as a way to figure out ghosts would be cool. I know yurei oni and moroi all have abilities and stuff but I forget a lot of the other things and %

it isnt insym, but its still helpful, though a bit outdated. a few of the ghosts are wrong since there has been multiple updates since that video came out :p

Tier 3 UV should be an area light like tier 1, but have a toggle-able concentrated light too
Custom is the best mode. Default Nightmare/Insanity is harder for less rewards. I hope they change it to where you can see people's game settings from the lobby menu though.

I KID YOU NOT, I've memorized how to identify ghosts, and the different stats for the cursed object faster than I have memorized anything for any class I've taken.
To make the tier 3 thermo actually good, the devs should make it so if you’re inside a freezing temps ghost’s hit box while using it u get a freezing reading. then the player has to use motion sensors and stuff to track where the ghost actually is. or they can run into ghosts doing ghost events and sacrifice a bit of sanity for a guaranteed evidence

Haven't watched the whole video so I dunno if you already answered but I had some questions, when you rule out a mare, jinn, wraith etc, cuz of their abilities can you rule out their evidence aswell in a no evidence run? Like, if you see salt being stepped on can you rule out all the ghosts that share the evidence with wraith? Also, I've seen you check for ghost orbs, does it work for The Mimic cuz it's a special rule? And the EMF reader just to be sure what the ghost is interacting with? So many questions you have probably already answered and I'm sorry if that's the case 🙏
Mare is difficult to rule out I think. In the dark, it can start hunting at 60%, while in the light it can only start hunting at 40%, plus the light switch ability. If a ghost ever turns on a light, it cannot be a Mare. Jinn and Wraith are easier, for the latter you already mentioned the salt test, while the former walks faster towards you if it's more than 2m away and the breaker/light is on. Plus it'll never turn off the breaker, so if a ghost does that it's not a Jinn. You can't rule out evidence based on the ghost's behaviour though, at least not as far as I know. Especially not on no evidence since all evidence is hidden, so you'll never be able to confirm or deny an evidence. And there is no such thing as ruling out ghosts with evidences that a ruled out ghost shares. For example, the Hantu's evidence is fingerprints, freezing temperatures, and ghost orbs. Ruling out Hantu doesn't mean you can rule out any ghost with ghost orbs, freezing temperatures or fingerprints. You need to rule them all out based on behaviour, not because they share one or two pieces of evidence with a ghost you ruled out. At least, that's what I think you mean. It'd be strange if you meant 'shares the exact same evidence' because the only ghost that can share three exact same evidence pieces is the Mimic, with its unofficial ghost orbs. Every other ghost has three unique evidence pieces that it doesn't share with anyone else (except maybe Mimic). Those the Mimic shares three evidences with are Hantu (freezing, ghost orbs, uv but no spirit box) and Onryo (freezing, orbs, box but no uv). And yes, the Mimic's ghost orbs show up on no evidence because as far as the journal is concerned, they're not a piece of evidence that belongs to the Mimic. Since that means the Mimic's ghost orbs aren't official evidence, they can show up even on no evidence. The EMF reader you're correct about, since only EMF5 counts as an evidence, that's the only EMF value that's hidden. Every other value can still show up on interactions.

DOTS in the comments, I guess. I do enjoy these longer videos. They help me pass the time in the early mornings where my body decides it will wake up at 1 AM and I require some kind of sound to help drown out the annoying sound of the cricket somehow living inside my wall.

I have not tested. If it is like that, it would be a good hiding spot to take the photos of the ghost.
Is there is a distinct way to tell the difference between ghost event and a hunt? Maybe I’m just dumb, but I can’t distinguish the two and end up dying thinking it’s a ghost event when it isn’t..🙃
