I recently moved to NYC for a year of study abroad at NYU! In the scope of things globally, I feel extremely lucky to even be able to go which had been uncertain up until I got on the flight. But I am really so grateful to be able to go and now I am here in NYC! If you're new to this channel, I was studying at Waseda University in Tokyo and am now spending my junior year at NYU before heading back for my senior year :)
I definitely want to capture more things that I do/see around NYC and NYU so I hope that the next few vlogs might be a bit more organized (if that is even a thing haha).
And since I am pretty new to the city and really just trying to navigate around it and also living as a university student, if you want to, comment below your favorite icecreams (very important), place recommendations, anything!! hehe

Some advice watch the good creators living in NY who show money saving advice about general themes including living costs, cheap good eats, grocery, relaxation places, things to avoid, nearby travels... Enjoy your time and hopefully show us around

😆 I’m also from NY. I’m currently applying for the semester exchange program to Waseda. Thank you for all the videos on Waseda University. If you’re craving for some Japanese food try out mitsuwa marketplace, katagiri japanese grocery, and tesolife. If you’re craving for all types of Asian food in general, take the 7 train to the last stop to flushing Main Street in queens. There you will find the Asian sea! Be careful of tour guides or people offering to help in the park or mall or on train station. They usually expect some payments afterwards! Anyways! Welcomeeeeee 😆😆😆
