Its always such a *pain* dealing with bed liner! 😖 Glad to see that the Rustoleum worked pretty good at removing it Jon 😀👍

The two tone blue and white on the fender is my favorite color combo. I had a 90 f250 the same color. Thanks for the video

My dad and I used smart strip coated the whole car and covered with plastic, we let it set and pulled plastic and it worked fantastic. We used razor blade scrapers to scrape the whole car down.

Glad your door worked out well. I hope you put a small lift and 35s similar to your green truck. That will look fantastic!

It does look like that Rustoleum Rusty Metal Primer.

Might be primer for bed liner

    Hey Jon,
The brown looks like a rust inhibitor or primer.
Looking at you trying to take off the chrome screws, I got a chuckle because I ended up grinding off the heads off my Bronco, wY back when.
Looks like your doors are going to clean up nicely.
    Lucky!
Sitting here in the Walmart parking lot, waiting for Snooky.
One thing she does well is to spend money off my account. She’s not as dumb as she leads me to believe.
I think I’m the one that doesn’t have the smarts.
    Hello to Jodi!
    Hello to buddy in Jessie!
    Excellent update,
    You two take care,

Probably an old Navy guy had a can of red lead primer and put it on before the bedliner.

Forget that... get heat gun, warm up the area you’d like to take it off, little by little like a foot size and scrape. Comes off like butter. Try it, worked best for me you’d be surprised. Did my entire truck.

    • @Driven716
      @Driven716 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Metal scraper works better just be careful not to damage or make scratches but plastic one isn’t sharp or thin enough at the end to do a quick job picking it up off the metal.

    Hey Jon
Just a thought, ... Maybe the former owner treated the door with a rust converter and sprayed over it
Course, I suppose you could call the guy and ask him
    Just sayin
