@@airikr433 i totally agree. but honestly the way they use the instrumental to underline the lyrics is the most important aspect of their art. the break at the "now guess who`s garglng close... BEHIND ME!" perfectly captures the shock of the individual telling the story and it's so beautiful to me.
Hell yyyeeeaahh, this album is based off the flying dutchman, so the guy encountered the ghost ship earlier in the album, and it haunted him afterwards before they get into the backstory of van der decken
Fuck yeah, Death Came Through a Phantom Ship. Excellent album with some amazing tracks. :D Also, fun fact: the "vicious false dog" lyric at 5:24 is a mistranslation from Dutch, which should be "vicious feral dog" seeing as 'false' and 'feral' use the same word in Dutch.
I love Carach Angren yo! All of there songs have storytelling lyrics with there signature horror metal and the vocals are jawsometastic same with there jawsometastic music too! I've seen them live they are mind blown yo and bought there hoodie with a saying on the back saying Fuck God Worship horror with the singer on the back as well with there both logos on the front of the hoodie I love these guys so much yo I wished black metal is more like this yo! 🌷🤘😎🤘🖤
