After more than two years of being separated, The Rose reunites to work on their new album “HEAL.” Their first full length album opens up the creative process to their fans around the world in hopes of starting a conversation about mental health and how music has helped them get through tough times. As the band navigates through personal stories submitted by their fans, they reconnect with each other and strengthen their bonds.

"HEAL"은 더로즈와 전 세계 팬들이 소통하며 제작된 앨범이다. 팬들의 이야기와 힐링이라는 주제로 멤버들은 열흘간 서로 떨어져 지낸 3년 동안 모아둔 메모와 간직했던 기억들을 공유하며 앨범을 완성했다. "음악을 통해 치유한다”는 메시지를 담아낸 이번 앨범은 ‘힐링’과 ‘함께’라는 테마의 10곡으로 구성되어 있다.

I've haven't seen artists make this much effort to listen to the stories and feelings of a fan and make songs for them to relate to . And I feel like the fact that all their songs are deeply emotional is what sets The Rose apart.

I am proud to be a Black Rose. Thank you for your effort and hardwork. 4 years ago, I heard, "She's in the Rain" and that was my way into stanning The rose. That song helped me get through many hard times. It makes me happy that you have an album dedicated to healing. Even today, you guys are helping me heal. I appreciate you all❤

I can’t say thank you enough for this. I’m a nurse and have been going through such a rough time with people dying. I didn’t want to burden my family as I know they have their own burdens with Covid and other things. Your music has really helped with my struggles and I love you all for it. Thank you. 💞💞💞💞
Thank you for your service. I know being a front line person could have never prepare you or any one for what covid did. I hope you find some comfort knowing people like me do appreciate all your hard work and efforts even if I don’t know you. I know from experience being in a healthcare profession is not an easy job. Music is healing and comfort itself when you think you have no one to confide in or concerned about sharing so I am glad you found The Rose their music. 🫶🏻
I feel you there. I worked in the ER when covid started and on medsurg for a year. Three years in healthcare with covid going on is hard, especially with patients dying. It takes a toll on your mental health for sure, especially in the beginning when there were no visitors allowed and families couldn't be there if their loved ones passed away. It's hard, but I love helping others.

I cant express how much this album and this series you made means to me. Heal came out in October, a time when I thought I would already be living my dream just-graduated-college real-adult life with a shiny new job in a shiny new city because that’s what everyone else was up to at that point,, but i felt like an odd one out because i wasn’t there yet. This time of not being in a structured life like it was being in school is showing me that literally nobody knows what theyre doing and everyone is winging it in life while pretending that they have it together. These types of feelings of feeling behind and feeling like i don’t want to do what everyone else is doing-while at the same timing figuring out what i even want to do in the first place- has been isolating to say the least,, but your music and the stories of the fans in this series helped me feel understood. The album also helped me think of other past feelings of hardship too and helped me cry some tears that i didn’t know I still needed to cry. This was a long way of saying,, im so thankful for you and your music and im glad this album allowed me and thousands of others to heal. I 🥀 you. 🖤
Not everybody are ready to open up to what they are going through…and most listens to MUSIC as their comfort..this heal album really state a lot of things and it takes the deepest soul of our own. Thank you The Rose for sharing and making it known around the world. i hope the members will always know how much they changed a lot of people's lives through their music. what they're doing is absolutely amazing and the fact that they put in so much effort and dedication into making sure they get their message, that everyone could relate to, across through music is incredible. it fills my heart with so much happiness. the rose, your music makes everyone feel less alone, and above us, makes us feel healed. we're very grateful :(
Shift really hits home, as someone who lost a brother 1 1/2 years ago (cancer). There are so many emotions that surround such an event, that take people around you and time to heal from, its a never ending battle. Thank you Melissa, for sharing your story and the rose for creating such healing music, its truly beautiful.
I just see this episode, the girl talked about what happens to her father, and Woosung played “shift” that moment I reminded my parents and then I was cried. I miss my parents so blue. I guess No one would ever love me as they do in this world.(except myself ).

We finally got to see The Rose live on Wednesday in SFO. My Husband finally put faces on the songs I listen to and play on our trips. You were part of my healing as a Frontline Nurse. At the height of the pandemic I often found myself holding a dying patient's hand since no one was allowed to visit during the lockdown. We are strong but at the end of our shifts, we cannot show our families we are broken. We do it all over again the next shift. Please know how much comfort your songs bring to so many. I'm not a big fan or anything, but I've been listening to this band since 2020, and this album has been my favorite album of the year, my grandmother died this year and it has been a very difficult time for me, plus my mental health for a while now has not been the best, this album is like a hug and fulfills its role of healing, I can not describe what I felt seeing how the process of creation was, it was something wonderful...

One thing I can say with conviction, listening to The Rose, the songs with their deep lyrics, has become part of my daily dose of "being happy". Thank you for that

One of the coolest project I've ever seen
I'd love to tell my story and have it written into song, I think my life would feel some what complete. I think also listening to music in a different language speaks to me alot more than most especially relatable ones (i don't listen kpop/ music in general unless it has genuine meaning) because when i play it out loud know one understands it, know one knows what they're saying (thats how i felt when i lived with my parents) you can just sit there and listen to it without reading eng subs and you know whats being said because you can feel it in your heart, it's like being taken to a different universe for awhile and know one needs to understand me.
The Rose, you gentlemen are absolutely a breathe of fresh air. I loved your music when you I first heard Sorry and this healing project is just the perfect album and continues to be amazing. The lockdown period was a period of happiness for me - the whole family suddenly together again for one last time and lots of walks around our rather green city. I cannot even phantom how hard it was for those in confined living circumstances, those not allowed outside at all, those alone or dealing with hardship such as Meliassa. It's seems the world has gone on, but people are not over it. It's a wonderful project that the Rose is doing.
I can definitely relate and appreciate what was shared in this episode. Our family suffered loss by suicide as well. When I heard the word Heal I immediately thought of what we went through. How music helped us I encouraged that as much as possible. Our youngest brother started playing guitar I think we all found that soothing and Our nights of Rockband. It was a dark time like a dark tunnel until I found myself out on the other side in the sunlight. You are not alone. "When your feeling down stay by my side" I did

I have so much to say about the shifts in my life that have happened in the last six years since my soulmate died and my daughters have all grown up and left home. And now I am leaving the house that was our family home for 22 years. But still I keep living. Listening to her story I think of my daughters and how they lost their dad too young. Thank you for this beautiful album and especially for the stories behind it and also connecting with your fans to hear their stories too. It is so precious.

I’m new for the rose and i just know now that this album were made together by fans. And based on fans’s true story. I personally really like and touched by the song titled “Shift” like, it feels so comfort and calm down my pain. And i just realized this song is made by the fan’s story that lost her dad. I’m crying so loud, that we have EXACTLY the same story. I have to go through mental illness bcs i lost my dad, he’s the only one who understand and know me well, i really miss him every single time. I’m hurting my self everytime i miss him and feeling down. So this song makes me feels like “no. Don’t worry too much, don’t think about bad things, there’s someone beside me, i know i’m not suffering alone.” Thank you the rose. You guys saved me.

I was literally healed by this album. It's so beautiful.❤️The special moment is always the happiest of them all. This Heal Project episode touched me the most. I lost my dad when I was 16, that was year 2016 due to pneumonia and just this year, Feb of 2022- we lost our eldest brother while he's on board his ship. And the reason is the same to Melissa's father's situation... That's why "shift" tugs something inside me because the message it delivers is the same message I am currently experiencing. To all people with the same situation as mine and Melissa, hope we heal together in the calmest way possible.

From the first track I heard on the album it was obvious that they had reached their goal. The whole album is healing. Watching the effort they put in to write it from the fan's perspective is just more proof of why they are worth following.
