Mark I've been watching GRAVE YARD CARZS since season 1.I believe it was the VELOCITY network and later MOTOR TREND. I am around your age and thank you for educating me about Mopar and also reminding me of the simpler time. With humor.
I am a closet Mopar fan......Early in life i got initiated to the ways of the Bow Tie, but i still am attracted to mopars.....i feel like i'm cheating.....but Graveyard Carz is where i go to get my Chrysler fix.
Idea: How about restoring a Plymouth Fury police package? You could paint it black and white and it would be a new experience for us viewers! Merry Christmas sir!
That is exactly how I would have optioned it from the factory. If I ever have the opportunity to build a car, this exact same option sheet is what I would do.
440 was a small percentage of overall production at the Trenton Michigan engine plant. People who are retiring just after the place hit 7 million realized that Keck Hardware had all their needs met -for plumbing and household repair. But the guy who owned the place was retired from -that blue oval.
Ice trey ...you keep ohn' being you ! Awesome ...that being said , I'm still so glad Darren and Alisa 's husband are gone ..they made your show rediculas ..hats off to will & Doug also .
My dad owned a Beige Road Runner (not sure what original color was), but also owned a 1968 barracuda that was yellow with a black bumblebee stripe across the back
I had chevys in my house because of dad . After gwtting my first car i paid for was a cadilac but my exs family was mopar & i remember my ex brother had a 440 charger 4 speed it was built as a race car & it had the tranny whine . Its better than porn listening to this machine winding up .
Heah Mark, take it easy on me because Chrysler Corporation cars played a big part in my earlier life. My Mother had a 1967 Barracuda and then a 1970 'cuda, bright yellow with black interior and a 383 Magnum. I raced motorcycles and Dodge vans, I owned two, were the ones to have, then Ford and lastly Chevy. If you used a truck Ford was the one closely followed by Chevy and I'm not sure I ever saw a Dodge truck, even at a race with 400 riders. I actually used a 1967 El Camino 396 4-speed most of the time. Now, here come the but. We all thought that Chrysler Corp cars were crude. You can not compare a Chrysler Corp 4-speed to a Muncie 4-speed. The Muncie is far better and probably weighs half as much. We used to laugh and say that Chrysler only built big motors because their cars weighed two tons. I do however have a soft spot for Chrysler Corp cars like to try and track down my Mothers 1970 'cuda.
I find myself turning these off, and just moving on more and more. Because of all the stupid BS. Somewhere along the way, you forgot it was about the cars.
You build the best cars period also the coolest cars. My favorite 71-72 Road Runner
