The basic ZX model grinding machine has a mechanical chuck with T-slot and is ideal for regrinding planer knives.
With the magnetic chuck option the ZX is good grinding machine for chipper knives (in wood chipping machines), and blades for recycling (granulator blades).
Further options like variable carriage speed and external tanks and pump equip the ZX machine for the resharpening of carbide tipped knives and profiled inserts (TCT) using one or more high power magnetic chucks mounted
in series, and alsos disposable blade such as Teresa, Variplan, Centrofix, Terminus, Kanefusa, and Sinus. It is also suitable for sharpening bladeswith concavebevel concaves.
The ZX machine can be fitted with cutting edge reference bar and/or rear alignment blocks on the magnetic table. The lever to rotate the magnetic chuck allows a full 0 ° to 90 ° rotation, the angle that is set can be mechanically locked to prevent movement during grinding.
Although the ZX is small in size, the machine is solid, sturdy and robust, with straightforward control panel making it easy to operate.
The ZX model is available in 2 grinding lengths: 1000 and 1230 mm.
