As I pick my copy of Brothers Karamazov, here comes the best review on Dostoyevsky's works. A big thumbs up to Amreen for this. I'm hoping to see a review on works of Pushkin and Tolstoy soon :)

      Thanks Shivin :)
Pushkin and Tolstoy are territories waiting to be explored. So many other authors and books get in the way. Soon!

your chain/necklace looks so good and your collar slightly tilted hiding one side and showing the other adds a good aesthetic to it

Finally! Someone with similar books taste with mine. I'm so tired of following popular booktube or booktok that mostly don't share the same taste as mine 💚 I'm so gonna subscribe to you.

Hi! I wanted to read him since last year but am still afraid of the fact that I might find his writing complicated. I’m still not sure, if possible would you suggest to me where to start? Thank you!:)

I had those same thoughts, which is why I put off reading Dostoevsky for the longest time. Believe me, it's no big deal as in once you start reading, his writing will get through. No two ways about that!
I started with Notes from Underground and The Double, and that really helped. Then I picked up Crime and Punishment.
Also, watching TH-cam videos that explain his philosophy and works was and still is extremely helpful.

Hi! I finished Notes from Underground, The Double and White Nights. Now ordered The Brothers Karamazov but I found it too big since I never read a novel more than 600 pages. Would you please suggest me some tips for this book? Thank you🙂

Are you familiar with Jason Jorjani? I ask because searching for his name and filtering for recent videos brings up this video, but I see no mention of his name in either the description box or in the comments. He's a controversial alternative philosopher of our generation, but brilliant. You should check out his works and interviews on TH-cam when you have a few moments to spare. He's pro indo-European but not politically correct, which is always a plus these days.

No I haven't mentioned Jason Jorjani anywhere, even in the video. But I will check out his works. Thank you so much.

Dostoevsky's novels can be confusing, especially if you're unfamiliar with his concepts and philosophy. But you can watch some videos on TH-cam that summarize his philosophies and ideas.
