Great review show again. I was in M&S once and saw someone who looked very much like me walking towards me. It was a few seconds before I realised I was approaching a full height mirror.
I am colorblind. In my youth, I wore very proudly during several months what Ithought was a green Hawaiian shirt. It was a sort of grey flowery granny blouse.
Great show. I remember once i was driving my friend in my car, when i pulled over to quickly go into a newsagents, came out and got back into my car only to notice my friend was missing. Therefore i thought they had popped out to visit one of the shops. After a few minutes a gentleman opened the door of the car and asked me what i thought i was doing in his car. I asked him what he was talking about and at the same time, my friend appeared and asked the same question .....only got into the wrong car, right model same colour, just not mine 😅
I was going on train from Crewe to Birmingham, guy at ticket office said “ you better hurry, your train is due in on platform 6” Got to platform in time went in shop to get sandwich and newspaper, train pulled in. Dashed out and hopped on as didn’t need to check train, had a snooze. Ticket collector asking for tickets, said “where are you going” replied “Birmingham New St”. No you’re going to London. Apparently they held up the Birmingham train to let the London express through. Now that was a blur🤣
I use to commute for work and use to be up so early. I remember walking into a famous high street brand and thought they were selling cannabis juice which I misread and looked again it was carrot juice.
I once hid around a corner planning to jump out and scare my wife. When I heard her coming very close , I jumped and yelled " booh!" It wasn't her but a complete stranger who hit me with her purse. I have never tried this again. Now I fear purses. Great show again Alex.
I went to the toilets in a restaurant and the sign said ADI I thought it was French for men. Turned out the L&ES were just missing from the Ladies sign 🙈. It was lovely and clean in there
Happy Saturday, Alex! Thanks for the Tenyo tip about Blur and I thought you had me on Magnet-0 until the price sto.. slowed me down. Years ago, I was talking to nice little old balding man at a NY Yankees Spring training game in Tampa for about 15 minutes. He said he had followed the team for years. The next day I saw a picture of him in the newspaper (that's how long ago this was), but this time he was wearing a NY Yankees hat. He was Yogi Berra. What a difference a hat makes.
I once heard a fellow on a TH-cam video refer to the painting “American Gothic”; however, my mind played tricks on me and I thought he said “American Graffiti”.
@@monstermagicshop I’m glad you did. It led me down a “rabbit hole” of research. In addition to discovering things about the Grant Wood painting that I didn’t know, I delved into the etymology of the word “graffiti”, which led me into an interesting look at its history from prehistoric through to modern times, the various types of graffiti around the world, and how it is viewed on a spectrum from archaeological treasures to vandalism to political expression to pop art selling for $millions at auction. So, thank you!
Great show Alex. Thank you. As for the contest I have a reading disability similar to Dyslexia which sometimes leads to a laugh. Recently I read a poster headline incorrectly. I thought it said, “Tracking Global Warming” which I thought was truly amazing and worth learning more about. Of course it actually read, “Tackling Global Warming”. Just the latest of my misunderstandings.
I saw a graduate from the magic castles youth program perform Magnet-0 at the prestige lounge. (Sorry Jeff I can’t recall your last name) I had written off that effect as meh but the reactions he got were insane that night. So I guess my first look at Magnet was a bit of a self deception, should have known better, Henry Harrius is this generations magicians magician. Smilesotheylikeyou
Once I was performing at a Boston Police fundraiser and around here the Boston Bruins hockey is huge- so I heard a famous athlete was going to be the keynote speaker I was backstage watching what was going on with this fella next to me for quite a while. He finally left and walked on stage which is when my friend said "do you realize you were just standing on the side and talking to Ray Bourque?! (One of the greatest defensemen all time).... You can tell hockey isn't my #1 sport 🤣 but i definitely mistook him for an average guy!
Hello Alex, I was walking outside near my home one day and thought I saw my friend at a distance, waving at them and yelling “Hey!” - Well it was not my friend, but rather a stranger. They looked at me oddly. Thanks!
I had a FB mssg misunderstanding just a couple days ago. As I was subbing in on a drum gig (just last night), I had asked if they finally got their electric snare drum repaired. He had mentioned that they were replacing the whole electric kit with an acoustic kit 'tomorrow night' & I had misunderstood his mssg that they were just replacing the snare drum. It wasn't until after I replied back, that I realized that I read his message incorrectly.
The price for some of these gaffed decks is becoming outrageous. Blur looks vaguely diverting, but i think ill put the cash towards Oasis tickets instead.

Its my pleasure. Thank you for watching again!
After watching a magic review show on Saturday morning, the presenter in a clip of himself jumps of a swing and I noticed two faces on his knee caps.
Great show.

I dipped my finger into what I thought was condensed milk and ate it. Found out it was lard, I was violated.

I’m surprised at your disgust Alex. You strike me as a man who would love to dip his finger into lard!

Hi Alex,
Just received my order I placed Thursday night once again what a great service. A big thank you for Monster Magics excellent packing.
I was taken aback when my I saw my kid’s classmate, Clint’s work on the schoolroom wall. He had written the L and I too close and it resembled a U.

Thanks Alex. You smashed it again!

@@chrisgillanders111 Yep. The method is solid but it needs pimping up.
