You can probably check your inventory of parts while in the parts shop by going over and opening up the parts sale dialogue with the merchant. You don't have to sell him anything, but you can see if you have a part at home without having to walk there. Also, you seem to be losing money on all of the custom orders. Maybe leave that system be until the dev bumps up the prices being offered to something that reflects the annoying nature of custom work.
