Hi Sovit Ji,
This is Alamgir. I watched your face2face and thanks for sharing your knowledge. You showed that average losing trade gives you 12% loss and max consecutive loss could be 23. If I will take 23 consecutive loss of my degrading capital starting from 5000000, then after 23 losing trade I will have 36039, as per calculation. So account will be nill.
But your backtest is showing max draw down is around 30%. What do we mean by max draw down. Is it max loss from a single trade or max in a series ?
Please correct me if I got something wrong. Hope I will get answer.

Seems Drawdown has been calculated based on book loss and profit. If you calculate drawdown after considering unrealized profit/loss on open position then it will come down drastically.

Max Drawdown is calculated on daily bases not on trade to trade basis thus it includes profit & losses of open positions as well.

Excellent peaceful strategy and approach towards investing. Really liked it. Very good for part timers
But Sir I have two questions
1. What is the rule you use for upward averaging in any position and what is the max % allocation in any particular stock? I believe you start with 2% of the folio and then keep adding as stock moves up. Isn't it?
2. How to prioritise/shortlist stocks if you are getting many stocks in your scanner. For e.g. in this week's scanner as well you are getting many stocks. You clearly cannot invest in all. How to choose best from the lot?

2 great questions, this clearly shows your commitment. 1) In this backtest we do not pyramid, the results shown are without pyramiding, we start with equal weight in each trade, and the weight automatically increases as the stock moves up. If you want to pyramid then you can backtest pyramiding on n day breakout or based on a percentage rise from the last buy price or a MA, 2) In the backtest amibroker by default takes trade alphabetwise. You can try backtesting based on RSI Value and see the performance.
