Love everything about these sweet sharings. The birds, your garden, the willows, the gorgeous bouquets and every other detail you squeeze in. I’m currently in a tiny mountain town in BC and the snow is only now receding and the river thawing, I’ve been out foraging and doing cuttings and creating wreaths. I’m teaching my wee granddaughter (3) to come help granny find treasure. Tomorrow we shall make something for her mom to hang on the door, I’m very much missing England and Scotland right now as I know the snowdrops, wild garlic, daffs, etc are all popping up. Here I’m making do with dried bits and pieces. 😊 if you need a protege I’m here! Will pop right on over. 😊
As a side note to flowers not going to waste, often brides in Ireland bring their flowers to relatives (grandparents ect) graves. So they can share in their day & be part of their happiness.
Hope the bride and groom have a wonderful day.Just put some ranunculus in trays in the shed.My first year growing/trying to grow them.. so i will see what becomes of them next year.Fingers crossed.
Ohhhhh Sweet Williams…my absolute favorite. I planted seeds and had hundreds of seedlings up and last night something, probably skunks, came through and just destroyed them! I may be able to salvage a dozen or so. ☹️
You are SUCH a class act!! Such taste, such talent! (BTW, what were those stunning pale pink upright bell shaped flowers in your bride's bouquet?) I had a similar day yesterday! Had bakery orders to fill, and hey presto, a blackout right in the middle of production-amid a windy snowstorm. Had to make no-bake cookies on my woodstove, and put everything off til today lol!! Enjoyed this little peek into your beautiful life, as always!!⚘🌷🌼🌹💐❤🙋♀️
I had a very small wedding and I cannot recommend it enough. You can REALLY focus on what matters to you and your family/friends.
true - Fabrizio and I had nine at our wedding including us and our eldest child - wouldn't have had it any other way x

Must admit I have ranunculus coming to bud in my sheltered garden and a single treasured tuberose
they'll get a shock when winter comes x
@@theflowerfarmer Hopefully ok. A very carefully sheltered spot but I shall most probably pick them to enjoy indoors
