Thanks for the information Alexey. When I ordered a monofin last year I had some difficulty choosing the blade size and stiffness so this video is great to see. I am training with it here in the deep cenotes near Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

    Thanks Alexey , great video🙏
I was wondering what your thoughts are regarding wider blades,Like maybe 76cm. Would having a wider tail make an impact when it comes to stiffness? Will the extra surface require going down in stiffness.
I am at soft 2 like you with standard size blade. Thinking maybe with a wide blade I should go for soft 1. Just wondering your thoughts and if you ever tried that approach. Thanks a million

Thanks Alexey, do use soft for pool and depth?

I have one and it’s pretty tight, I use some soap/shampoo to put them on otherwise no chance then I can swim like 20min. A comfort would’ve been perfect:)

Hey, so does it make sense to swim monofin style with bifins or what makes a monofin better when swimming with the same movement.
I haven't done competitions and I only want to spend a lot on a new fin if it makes a big difference.

You will get much more power with a monofin because it has a larger surface area (and you will definitely feel the difference in a monofin)! I have a Molchanovs monofin and it cut my dive time down a LOT!
