Thank you somuch Sister for sharing this Booties iam doing this for My grand daughter once Again thank you somuch Lord Jesus Bless You You are blessing to many By helping like this thanks Sister.
I"m going to be a great-great aunt and plan on making a whole box of these in different colors and one special pair I Hope my great-niece has as a keepsake from me and hands them down through generations yet to come
I haven't yet watched the full video but after trying a few others I didn't find one with I I s clear enough to follow but after reading the comments left on this one I feel hopeful to find it easier to follow your i instructions. I will comment again with an update. I am knitting for my sisters first baby, my first niece or nephew so I am a first time Auntie as of today. My sister claimed that "she will be a boring mum and I will be a "glam-tie" 😊 so I am hoping to successfully create a handmade lifetime gift to give her that can be kept in a baby memory box maybe. xx
Long time crocheter and knitter yet this is my first time knitting socks/booties, loved the clear, easy to follow instructions! Mine didn't turn out as neat and pretty as these but guess for a first try and with a crochet hook instead of sewing needle, it's ok. Now the second piece aaaah!
Practice helps. I undid my 2st booties 3 times getting started. I have knit socks since age ten. I started knitting sweaters when my children were young. They are all in their 50s now. I am learning to knit baby booties for my brother's grad grandbabies. Three babies is just a start, I suspect. My one niece had 5 adult children. Carie has 3 daughters. The younger 2 may soon follow their sister & cousin. 😉
Thank you for showing how to knit these booties. Easy to follow and very clear and slow knitting instructions. I’ve just made my first baby booties. I’m really pleased how they have turned out. You have given me a lot of confidence.
I am right handed and could never learn to knit left handed like you knit. I feed yarn off my right hand since 1955. Interesting that you tie off that last cast-on stitch.
This is honestly a great video with one exception. The cast off stitch that's used doesn't allow for any give or stretch at all and that's a bit of an issue when it comes to baby socks. Other than that, it's a perfect tutorial that's very easy to follow.
Do u have a video on newborn mittens? Ive made the bonnet and booties. Just wanna match them with mittens. Your videos are so simple to follow. Thanks and keep doing what you are doing xxx
Thank you so much @Knitting for Baby for your lovely and instructive videos! I wanted to ask if there is a way of adjusting this pattern for bigger baby feet - like say 10 month-old? Wishing you a wonderful day! ☺
Hi I would like to make a nice beautiful sweater for my granddaughter she’s already four years old and I would love to make a nice sweater for her size 5 or 6 hope to see this video please let me know thank you! 😊
Here’s a playlist of cardigan sweaters in my other channel that can easily be made in those sizes th-cam.com/play/PLiGQpEa3IKJ9kAhOtVjMaIh4ZHvT2TURE.html
First time knitter, was able to follow your instruction as you have made it simple and easy to follow. How is the counting for 3-6 months booties? Thank you!
Hello, I am so bad at following directions and easily confused. It would be easier visually if the tutors used different color needles especially when flipping as in row 14. Why do I flip...can't I just finish the row with knits, purls? Thank you!
In rows 1 thru 22, it looks like you are knitting through the back all the stitches and not just the first one. Could you please clarify? The verbal instructions are clear but in looking at the video I thought it looked like you stuck with knitting through the back the entire row during the knit 2 purl 2 sequence.
Try these from my other channel. They’re the same and in the comments you can find written instructions. Here’s the link th-cam.com/play/PLiGQpEa3IKJ87bjeE0BK3jH6haUHU77-T.html

The English left-hand knitting yarn feed looks awkward to me. I learned to knit from my Coats & Clarks How to Knit Book when I was 10. ©1952 edition. The ponytail cast-on method that I learned from that booklet was much easier for me as a child, too. At 78, some of the methods that I see on TH-cam & on modern knitting books look awkward to me.
I learned to knit socks in 1954 and to crochet baby booties. My grand nieces want knit booties for their babies, so I decided to learn a few patterns that were not toe-up knit like a sock.
I am mostly using hypoallergenic milk cotton & silk-blend yarns from China via eBay & WISH. However, the fiber contents are different on the silk fiber now. Four years ago the yarn was 60% silk protein, 30% natural cotton & 10% mohair. The yarn that I just bought from WISH is 60% milk cotton 30% silk protein & 10% mohair from baby Angora sheep. Still a very good yarn for babies.
China has changed much since COVID. From 2020 until this year many of the yarns & knitting needles were not even being sold! Especially in 2020 & 2021.
Beautiful 👌
Gorgeous, thank you for sharing.
Wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

How do you add the ribbon 🎀
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much @Knitting for Baby for your lovely and instructive videos!
I wanted to ask if there is a way of adjusting this pattern for bigger baby feet - like say 10 month-old?
Wishing you a wonderful day! ☺
Thank you and yes there is. I’ve done them in a bigger size by using thicker yarn and bigger size needles
Thanks for this cute and easy pattern! Just curious...why are we knitting the first stitch through the back loop?
I’m a combination continental knitter. You can knit and purl however way you know how and the end result will be the same.
I would love a written version.
Same!!! Can't find it anywhere
I’m so sorry but I don’t have written instructions.
Me, too! How do we do this?

How many to cast for 12 mos?
Thanks.
How many stitches should we take for 10-12 month baby??
First time knitter, was able to follow your instruction as you have made it simple and easy to follow. How is the counting for 3-6 months booties? Thank you!
Great job! Just use a slightly bigger needle size to make it bigger
@@knittingforbaby 1:22 how did you add the ribbon at the end? Thank you.
@knitforbaby how did you add the ribbon!
I was using a double pointed needle pattern but these are so much easier and cuter!

Is it because she knits continental style?
Hi. How do you know how to make both shoes the same size? :)
Since these are so small there is no left or right so you just knit two exactly in the same way and they come out the same size.
What size are this booties
At the beginning of the video I always mention the size
Still can’t make them the numbers don’t tally up
