Thank you for this video! One tip I have is after you dust an area, I use a mist-er bottle full of water. Spray as close to the ceiling as you can and let the mist “rain” down. This traps dust from the air and sends it to the floor where it’s easy to vacuum.
Mika! Happy to see your video pop up. Only you could make "dust" an interesting topic! With each decluttering (even if just paper), I always feel uplifted. The less items to manage, the more content I feel. Wonderful to hear that you are working on another book. I picked up "My Friend Water" for a special little one. You did such an excellent job of providing children (especially those who may be water-shy) a sweet perspective, while addressing the importance of water safety. If you want to insert any bloopers next video, or that cute dog of yours wishes to photo-bomb the video ----- I wouldn't mind. ❤😄 ❤
Hi Jean! Haha, the same here! Awww, thank you for picking it up! You are so amazing! ❤️ 📖 ❤️ I'm happy that you liked it!! It's a story that I really wanted to tell about staying calm, and I hope that it helps some children out there 💦 Hehe, I thought of what you said, and I've included him in most videos at some point- he loves it- he gets so proud when I call him over 😂 😂 I appreciate you, and I hope that you are happy and healthy and well, and have a wonderful summer! ☀️ 🏖 💕
This was a fascinating perspective. Who knows: mayby my clutter will one day form a planet. LOL. Just kidding: I WILL get rid of it! Thanks for reminding me to clean my Dyson filter. I adore my cordless Dyson vacuum cleaner & it has changed my outlook on cleaning. I used to vacuum with reluctance, because my old vacuum cleaner was so cumbersome and heavy; and I would sometimes trip over the cord. I hated dragging it around from one plug point to the next; or upstairs. Now I find my Dyson so lightweight and manoevrable, it is a joy to use. The old proverb "a bad workman blames his tools" is not always applicable: in my case, finding a better tool transformed me from a reluctant to an enthusiastic cleaner. I sometimes use a long radiator brush (made out of goat's hair, oddly enough) to extract dust from awkward, unreachable places; then have my vacuum at the ready to suck up the dust immediately. Thanks a lot for all the points you made. Great video.
Hi Moon Goddess! Hahaha, that made me laugh 😂 💕 I totally agree that finding the right tools/good tools can make all the difference! Hehe, I used to vaccum with reluctance too, but now I enjoy vaccuming with this one 🙌 🙌 Also, using a long radiator brush is so smart- what a great idea!! Thank you for sharing that tip! 🙏 🌺
Hi Shiryon! Ooohh, yes, I know exactly what you mean about seeing dust in the sunbeam, especially so while dusting and vaccuming! I had to stop and think for a moment, as you make an interesting point. As for asking company to take shoes off, I have an idea that I don't know if it'll help or not... one of my friends has this small pretty painted tile/art piece hanging in his entryway that says, "Mahalo, please remove your shoes." I just looked on Etsy, and there are some similar things, and even doormats that range from funny to sassy to polite. I wonder if having something like this in the entryway would make it easier... 😃

I really appreciate it, and I'm happy that you enjoyed it!! Thank you too! 😃 🙏
It's hard for me to ask company to take their shoes off. Have you ever dusted or even vacuumed in a sunbeam? It's very discouraging.

Less clutter makes dusting easier. Because it is easier, you probably dust more often and there you go problem solved. 🎉
So true!! 😃 🙌 🎉
