How wonderful it is as a women my self to have someone look at themselves and say that they feel beautiful in their own skin! You work so hard as a mom and wife, and friend! Breastfeeding only works if it works for BOTH mom and baby. Tommy (and Jackson and Calvin) needs his mom at 100% so it's extremely important you take care of yourself too, whatever that takes. Don't ever feel guilty about having to take care of yourself and stop breastfeeding.
You go girl. I nursed my middle two exclusively and then had post partum anxiety and it killed my supply and so she’s a bottle baby. I used to be so hard core breastfeeding but I’ve learned and realized that every situation is different and everyone has to do what’s best for them. I was sad at firsts but also relieved. Love your body positivity.
Ellie, you have such a good heart. You can tell that it's so much more than just "being over it" when it comes to nursing. It's what I would tell Bonnie after her surgery. Always do what is best for you because it's probably going to be best for someone else in some way. You are a good person and I'm glad that you feel good about this decision and have that love and support :)

There’s nothing wrong with taking care of you, when my oldest now 2 was seven months old I had to stop he wouldn’t take frozen milk at all and I was pumping and nursing and was getting so depressed and didn’t even realize what was happening once we got transitioned and into a new routine things leveled out so much better and he’s so happy and healthy! I just so understand how you’re feeling and know you’re still a rockstar! ❤️

It’s disappointing not to be able to do something that would normally be so beneficial and good to do, especially since it otherwise was going so well this time but you are so right making this decision. Funny Cabbage leaf story! I had some on me and forgot so for about an hour I was trying to find the stinky smell in my house like a crazy sleep deprived mom. My husband finally ask what was going on and I told him and he looks at me and says "Babe you are the smell you're looking for....you're wearing cabbage" LOL

I had trouble reading when little. My teacher had me do hooked on phonics. Then she would review it with me on Sundays. She would be at school grading and doing lesson plans. So I would get 30m or so of tutoring. It helped. Still not the best reader or speller. She was and still is my favorite teacher. She took the time to teach me. When my privous 1st grade teacher would get annoyed and ignore me and focus on the other 1st graders. Making me have to repeat 1st grade. So I can honestly say I hated my 1st Grade Teacher and also turn around and say my 1st Grade Teacher was the best! Thanks Mrs. D.

I did so little thinking about myself. My life was my baby boy." I came across a this photo of me and remarked that I looked like someone from Ethiopia. I weighed 97 lbs. You have to take care of Ellie too. OH!!! The Harlem Globetrotters.........I went to see the original group of them years ago when I lived in Philadelphia. What a fun time it was.
