    What's funny is I didn't think CH was cutting TT off, read the box and was a bit confused, then read the comments and realized why CH had to CYA. It felt like two friends having a chat over tea, feeding off each other and talking at the same time, friends and I do it all the time! ha!

    • @lisamiddleton3475
      @lisamiddleton3475 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      drkellyncsu I agree. I see all these comments saying she kept cutting her off and I didn't see it that way.

    • @megancollins9931
      @megancollins9931 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Fiona Midgley I got mine from Dermstore.com and it's just what I was looking for! They are an authorized seller so you know it's great quality. They sell ones that are a smaller size needle and then they have a kit with a few different heads for the body, lips, and under eyes, but that one is more expensive. They also come sterilized in a package like you would see in a surgical office or something! It comes with its own plastic case to put it in after you use it which is awesome because you never want to just set it somewhere. It could get dust and bacteria on it and you could bend the needles which is a HUGE no no! I ALWAYS sterilize mine with isopropyl alcohol (nothing lower then 91%) before and after I use it. I hope I helped a little bit :)

    I love shaving the face; it is great for exfoliating and giving the products you layer on top a greater chance of absorbing faster. I shave once a week and find my skin is smoother and softer than when I don't.

    I've started with Zelens Vit A about 2 months ago and my skin is now used to it. I will use it up but I'm wondering what "the next step" would be? Interestingly with using acids and retinol my redness has improved. I was afraid of it going worse.

    Love it! Covered a lot in a short time. Personal issues are closed comedones and melasma, so I can't wait to see your discoloration video. Question- what is the retinol referenced? Retriderm? What's a good one that's stronger than most OTC but easier to tolerate than retin-a? Looking for in between strength, since my tolerance falls in that range. Thanks! X

    Love this! First, CH that purple pink color on you is sooo good. Second, with as long as I've been dealing with acne (15 years and counting) I have to agree with you that you shouldn't go to a GP for skin issues. A dermatologist just KNOWS what they are doing. A GP does not! GPs are great for flus, strep throats, infections, etc. Dermatologists know skin, live breathe dream skin.

    Fab video, absolutely brilliant to hear both points of view! I'd love to know more about what treatments/products you'd recommend to start in your 20's. My skin is pretty decent despite hormonal/diet breakouts but I don't know if I'm too young to start a retinol type treatment (by too young, I mean whether it's where my priority should be) etc. or what you'd say works best! Thanks

    and Luna oil together on the same night. Skin is dehydrated and acne prone.

    When you say derma rolling is that the same thing as micro needling? I became terrified after I read somewhere that someone (could I be more vague?) spread a latent cold sore on to the rest of her face....So she has recurring cold sores on half her face. Now is this something that happens a lot even if you are really good with sterilizing? Is it worth going down this route? Really interesting vid and I love the chatty vibe ;)

    I use a .05mm dermaroller and have read different things about how often to "roll". I''ve now given myself 4 treatments with 3 weeks in between each - can I do it more often without damaging the collagen in my skin? And, eventually, if I go to the next longer needle, do I have to wait longer between "rolls" - is there a rule of thumb about this? Also must tell you I use Kate Somerville's Dermal Quench with Retinol after rolling (and every evening) based on seeing the product in your video and (I think) between the two my 58 year old skin has been transformed and looks 110% better. I do this myself because I find the facial clinics descriptions of treatments offered terribly confusing and all so different I have no idea how to decide. Thank you for all of this invaluable information - it really, really makes a difference for the better.

    Caroline.. I have been using a Korean special treatment essence called Galactomyces Niacin by Manyo Factory.. Honestly I don't really even understand what it is because the ingredient list is in Korean. However it has completely changed my skin. Acne is pretty much gone . Oil production is way down. My Oiliness level is almost perfect. Just enough to not feel dry. Pores are smaller and redness is gone too. Have you heard of this product??

    Well I've been thoroughly spoilt with your videos this weekend. I have a very stubborn age spot on my cheek and it's not budging😢. Do you think I should go in with a laser treatment and if so what do you recommend.

    Serious skin goals!!! 🙌 what age should someone start to consider derma rolling?

    I didn't know glycolic acid wasn't good for dark skin. Would P50 be to strong on the chocolate?

      No glycolic in P50! ;) x

      Caroline Hirons ahh... I would appreciate more information on this risk in future upload discussions. I googled it and didn't see much regarding it. I'm 28 with combo oily skin and I've been dabbling in acids for about a year. I feel like bha may dry my skin out (and make me more oily). Got the 7% glycolic toner from the Ordinary, but now I'm reconsidering using it.
