Being a Dirt Rally 2.0 player, i bought WRC 10 to try it out because i have a sim setup. But i just can't get around how weird it feels to drive in comparison to Dirt. it feels like you're floating on the road and idk it's just weird. DR2 has a much better simulation imo. Apart from that, you were flying through that stage, great drive!
I really really wanted to like WRC Generations and I do love the stages but coming from Dirt Rally 2.0 it just hasn't hit right. Changing the steering settings has helped significantly, but something just isn't right. Also at least on PS5 WRC G looks terrible compared to Dirt Rally 2, like forced HDR or something and bad textures/pop in. Feels like a ps3.5 era game and sounds like it too.
I found on WRC if you spend about 20 minutes playing with the sensitivity and dead-zones you can make it feel somewhat the same, but 100% it just feels like your constantly loosing control
He is not the greatest rally driver in the world. I think he drives very well, but first of all how many people are very good and don't film themselves? If you want I filmed 2 of my games on Dirt 2.0, you type "NeVroSky Dirt Rally 2.0" you will find

@@patrickvalmontthat's just about it. During night stages, the brake lights are noticeable but by the time the sun goes up, it doesn't. They did a good job on implementing it on WRC9 and 10 but they did it dirty on WRCG. Still, thank you for pointing it out though.
It must have been really difficult to evolve the 97 puma into this one, probably the designer watched the power rangers as a child, I watched the whole video expecting the turbo boost for the jump...
It boggles me but I played also dirt rally, and all dirt games,tarmac simulation on this game is spot on, the sim side is spot they should make a new studio to make we games, and also it boggles me diet team codemasters also made other games like shift and grid

Can I please ask what settings you have for Fanatec handbrake, not finding a good setting for it at all too sensitive. Unfortunately finding it more consistent & easier with button on wheel which is not good
im pretty sure he plays in cockpit view, and just uses the replay in third person for the video. In some of the other videos you can see part of his screen and he's in first person view
It's 2023 and the official WRC game still has vanilla RBR level engine sounds

huh I don't play WRC but I've tried Dirt Rally & 4 coming from AC and ACC driving in dirt is really scary in tarmac theres absolutely no grip.

There are three, two small ones in tail lights and a big one in the middle of rear window.

They do actually, most of them but when you brake it barely lits up. I had closer look and some of them are barely noticeable.

Is the driving experience on tarmac any better compared to the one in WRC 10 because it's a complete mess on tarmac stages.
INSTALL DIRT RALLY. it is the most ralistic sim out of all the sims out there. also play it with a wheel.

while DR2.0 may be better by a mile, WRCG has better content in my opinion. They have more rallies than DR2.0 with all the DLCS installed.
