I love hemsedal, I am from The Netherlands and I go there almost every year. A nice tip for the people from Europe, if you are going to hemsedal it is a nice experience to travel to Norway with a cruise from Kiel Germany. That could be the Color line or Stena line. It is much fan and a good way to relax while traveling. Verry good video. You have got a new subscriber👍🏻

Nice videos, you have to make some more. I live in western Norway for some years now but ski info content like this is very nice to find. I Ski mostly Myrkdalen, you should maybe make a video about Myrkdalen as well and show some more backcountry lines in western Norway. :)

It's a good question! I don't think it's as black and white as that. They are both good destinations for both young people and families. Hemsedal is certainly more known for it's legendary apre-ski. But I think the biggest difference is the mountain and the type of skiing you can do. In Hemsedal you have more of a feeling being in the mountains. You can go ski touring, freeride skiing etc. In Trysil there are no interesting ski touring / ski mountaineering and pretty limited options for freeride skiing. But on the contrary, they have more slopes, longer slopes, better gromed slopes and generally more space on the mountain.
Hemsedal is amazing but pretty small in my opinion. A week there is too long. But as I said it's amazing, been there multiple times, only for 3 day-vacations though

Nope Trysil is the best resort in Norway. Hemsedal only offers 44km of pistes. U can ski it on one or two days. Maybe offpiste and snow quantity are a bit better in Hemsedal, the full package (km, piste variety, slope preparation, quality of hyttes and apartments) is better in Trysil. If youre looking for powder masses you better chose Myrkdalen, if you are looking for Adrenalin you ski Kvitfjell. Greetings from Kiel, Tommy 😉🤙
