I was bashing RHC's with TnG's the other day and on one final my instructor said "reduce power".......I said " We're already idle!" we floated gently down to the runway ID numbers only for me to bounce the aircraft ruining what I thought was a decent circuit. Apparently, I flared too quickly.
Easily done; if only we had as many hours in the air as we do driving on the road... it takes hours and hours even years to know your aeroplane as well as your car.
