I find it hard to disassociate the song from Liz Fraser. But I think if I was listening to this before hearing the original and not knowing who the Cocteau Twins were then I would find it more gender-ambiguous
@@verbslower I hear that. I think this is possibly the only time I've ever heard a song slowed down where I would find it hard to know the gender of the singer in the normal version had I not known that it was of course Liz Fraser!
