Ceri, you are the best and most thoughtful person to give a review of a product. Thank you! You know how to cover every aspect of questions your listeners might have.
Diane Antone loves the Arrtx White marker. I know you and others have difficulty with white markers. And apparently the large Arrtx white marker works well for her. It’s a larger one with yellow and blue markings on it. I thought of you when I was watching her work a couple of days ago.
Ceri, excellent job on the review of the Acrylic Markers. I love it when people tell the truth, no sugar coating either, I like what you drew too, have a wonderful weekend, take care.
Hi Ceri….I’ve seen many reviews of these markers, and specifically this set. In the US this set on Amazon is $60.00….so $1 a marker, which I don’t think is bad. But like you, I would like to see more varied colors than so many just slightly different. I hope things are settling down for you, where you feel like you can breathe again. Treats and ear scratches for Biscuit…..hugs for you!
Thanks for the review...fun piece of artwork! For those artists that like shading...I think the subtle color differentiation is a plus. I have so many markers at the moment but for future reference I will definitely keep in mind.😊
It will be interesting to see how they last and perform over time. Will they clot up quickly? How much paint is in them? I would love to see you revisit these after using them for a little while, or even see how they last after being open.
Thanks for the review. Good product. My problem is I always buy markers at the beginning of each new school year, when Crayola is on sale. I do love coloring and using markers.
Good review, Ceri! This brand does make a dual tip marker too, with a brush tip on one end and a bullet tip on the other. I have a box of those, maybe 32 colors. I do like them, but they are a marker, not a paint pen, so I don't find that they replace my poscas. Nor do I find them to be as permanent or water resistant as the poscas. They lack the translucency of a regular marker. But on the other hand, as you found, they give good coverage and don't show nearly as many brush strokes as a traditional waterbased ink marker.
Ceri-Liked your review of these markers, but I’d like to see how the different colors layer over one another more. Could you take your project a step further by doodling in the solid colored areas with the white, black and some of the other colors in a future video?
Hi Ceri. I don't use markers much but when I do it's always been Sharpies. Only because they are readily available. And they do a decent job. I too think the popularity of these will depend on the price. TFS Good to know what the market has to offer. Hope you have a great day. 🌞 Big ((hugs)) ❤️ Had to come back and say I just went to your link for the US...no way with their price will I even consider buying them...crazy.
Also,-I had another thought I use some of my post as on my gelplate. Could you also use these on your gelplate, maybe in conjunction with some post as and then use a regular tube acrylic to pull.
Always appreciate your honest thoughtful review of media!! How do you ensure that the paint keeps flowing if you don’t need to “prime” them? I’ve always been told that paint markers need to be stored flat (not tip down or up); what is your opinion?
I always store markers flat however several people have said these markers work best if stored tip down so that the tips are are continually in contact with the paint within the pen to prevent the tips drying out, maybe that’s this pens alternative to priming them.
@ I didn’t try intentionally, I believe you though. I have a recent painting I use some acrylic markers on and need to continue with painting, I will give it a try and pay attention.❤️

Oh thank you Linda
Hi Ceri. I love the purple circle. The outline really brought the different colours out. Thank you for sharing this review. 😄
Hello dear Ceri, thanks for the review. Honest and straightforward, I appreciate it. Thanks so much. Have a blessed weekend ❤

Right now this set is $49.99 on Amazon USA. I have an artist friend who really likes the set by Grabie which is quite a bit less expensive.

Nice review of these markers😊
I really like the colors. But yes I wouldn't need so many close to the same colors. Thank you for your review ❤
You’re welcome 😊
Very good review. Very kind and honest.
Thank you

I had bought these about 6 months ago. I like them. I didn't get 60 but a smaller set.
Did they have a good variety of colour in the smaller set.

I’ll see what I can do.

Good to know, thank you Donna.
Thanks, Ceri. I just walked away from all the markers at the store this afternoon because I wasn't prepared to commit. :)
Markers are an investment
Thanks for review. I use mainly posca, Amsterdam acrylic marker are for me a fail. Think yolande uses these right? Wrote me once the name down.
Also,-I had another thought I use some of my post as on my gelplate. Could you also use these on your gelplate, maybe in conjunction with some post as and then use a regular tube acrylic to pull.
I think if you can use Posca on a gel plate then these would be okay…..but it needs testing.

Love your creation Ceri❤❤❤, generally the acrylic markers can’t be reactivate with water once they are dry they not.
Myriam I’ve heard that said of Posca yet I know for a fact if I brush Matt medium over them they reactivate.

Good they stand point down
I just looked at Amazon in the USA.. Fifty dollars for the set of 60.
You mist one black line😅. Thanks . Ik hou zelf van pennen met twee kanten . Een brush en een fineliner.
