The dropped pass was not why they lost the game. There are so many plays that went unnoticed, which lost them the game. No one else is apologizing for their missed plays.
this is the case in literally every sports game ever... people will fixate on one moment of an entire game and not the other 50+ players that led to that moment. Every single mistake that took place beforehand. Let alone the idea of the "butterfly effect". One thing goes differently at any point during the game and your team may have lost by 30 instead of 10. Theres no way of ever knowing how a game wouldve changed, regardless of the fantasies that fans have.
The part that's confusing to me is the way every single person ignored the Bills fans making extremely racist memes about Lamar Jackson but now suddenly, they're "classy" for coddling Mark Andrews for getting the same treatment that Lamar has received since he arrived in the league. But, ohhhhhh noooo. Not the white guy.
You do know both fans was being extremely disrespectful. A lot of bills fans suck and raven fans. Don’t try to call out one and not call out the other. It’s been horrible on both sides.
Black players definitely get criticized more than white players in general but I don't think this is a good example of that. Andrews has been getting a lot of criticism for the drops and skipping out on talking to the media post-game

He left his qb and other teammates dry and had them answering questions about him they he could've answered himself. Even rookie Zay Flowers addressed the media last year after he fumbled at the 1 yard line.
Ravens fans acting like the 2 pts would have won the game. There was 1:33 left on the clock and Bills still had 2 timeouts. Plenty of time for them to get 40 yards for a game-winning kick.
@@TjOlanidoesn’t matter, fact remains it wasn’t to win the game only tie it. Maybe next time Lamar takes care of the ball and they aren’t down as much as they were.
From being a Baltimore Ravens fan, I accept the apology. But people fail to realize this loss is on Lamar résumé. Us as ravens fans we defend this team constantly because like the media and sports center. They bash this team and Lamar name in the dirt. This was the perfect season. We have 9 pro bowlers. It was no excuse, but a freak accident just happened.
Andrew’s isn’t a big game player. He has a lot of drops in big games and playoff games. This isn’t the first time, there’s a reason he only has one touchdown in the playoffs. It’s Likely SZN!!
Actually Mark Cantdrews has 0 touchdowns in the playoffs! He also has 8 drops in 8 games! He is a captain on the team and that loser deserves no pass 💯 FACTS 😤 Cantdrews is a liability in the playoffs and needs to be traded 🗑️🎤
Likely does have some sure hands as far as catching. You can see how flexible and agile he plays. I love Mark's grit but he can look a little tight. Fyi i think Mark likes to catch the ball above his shoulders.
To be fair, the pass should have been caught with 2 hands while running to the sideline. Lamar threw it a half second late and a bit 2 soft which made Mark Andrews try to turn and catch before going out
@@mikerhem1273 ...you literally just proved his point. And if the ball was outside towards the sideline and he dropped, you'd be saying Lamar should have put it on the numbers. Reread what @colereviewsyt said...

Exactly. This L is going to be on Lamar's resume more than anyone else. He already had to dap up Josh after the game and then he had to face the media alone. Mark really could've had his back. They both made big mistakes.

There is a solid half of ravens fans talk a lot of ish when it’s good, and then a loss (regular or post season) and the ish turns on the team. They really fair weather flockers.
OK, let me edit bc I agree with some points. There were some Ravens fans making threats AND they were mostly driven by gambling impact, not solely bc they are passionate fans.
In the Superbowl, the falcons lost the game when Julio Jones failed to catch the ball on a critical down. The ball sailed right between his outstretched hands. Julio never located the ball and so his jump was slightly mistimed, probably lost it in the bright overhead lights. For some reason nobody ever said anything was his fault. Andrews was the best tight end in football a few years ago before some of his key injuries. I thought it was horrible decision to throw the football on that last play in the dreadful snow to frozen fingers. Lamar or Henry could have found their way into the endzone. I think mark was anticipating contact and he leaned back before the ball was there, throwing him off balance. When he felt no contact he was too low and lost his grip. He was basically getting ahead of himself and trying to crash through and into the endzone before first securing the catch. A terrible mistake, amplified by when it happened. Now he's in the Tony Romo club. Lamar's embarrassing fumble was worse, but then again it wasn't on the last play in the biggest game of the season. The best team doesn't always win. Sometimes its just the guys who make the fewest mistakes.
As a cowboys fan, bro it sucks when your team looses but we’re just fans. Besides the players and coaches, wins and looses have zero effect on our lives. Besides it seems like most fans only want their team to win so they can go and post gifs of their team in the rival team’s social medias. But calling for a man’s death because he dropped a ball is bad like really bad.
Unfortunately the Ravens just don't seem built to handle the post season for whatever reason. The last 2 years all I heard was what a stacked team they have. They'd be even more dangerous this year with Henry...yet it's the same story...they could go 17-0 next season and there will still be questions until they at least make it to a SB.

It comes down to turnovers. Last 3 playoff games came down to turnovers. The difference this year and in the future is that Lamar can come back from behind. But the problem is, they were really clean this yea, especially Lamar. So how do you coach it away if they don't show it during the year?
Ok and congratulations. You finally got your confirmation bias. Only afc team with a sb appearance in the past five years other than the chiefs is the bengals and they can barely make the playoffs. So unless your a chiefs shill who cares what you think about the playoffs
The fact that BAL had 3 TOs to BUF’s 0 and still only lost a chance to win the game on a dropped 2-point pass…stop with the nonsense. Baltimore had the better team, but turnovers cost them a game they STILL almost came back and could’ve won.
The reason why Andrews is apologizing via social media is because he didn't say anything after the game, he skipped the media session afterwards. Of course he doesn't need to "apologize" but as a Raven's fan I want to hear some sort of accountability for that horrible loss, especially from our stars.

All of them are sending hateful/death threats messages to you and your family members. Doesn’t that sound crazy and weird???
Yes does Mark Andrew get paid millions?? Yes he does 🤷🏽♂️. He made it to a league of football only us regular folks dream about playing for or any professional sport league (Only 0.08% of high school kids go pro to the NFL). But guess what people mess up in life…. It happens to the best of us. But it’s CRAZY to me he is getting death threats from randoms STRANGERS (he will never know us) that couldn’t even play 1st string high school football.
the only time its justified EVER is when a player/ref egregiously rigs a game for their own gain knowing that thousands of people have money riding on it. Thats the only way I can see sports betting converting into rage entirely. But I dont mean a questionable call/mistake... i mean an OBVIOUS attempt to alter the result
The dropped pass was not why they lost the game. There are so many plays that went unnoticed, which lost them the game. No one else is apologizing for their missed plays.
yes. it. was lol 😂
Literally ended the game, so how wasn't it the reason they lost?
this is the case in literally every sports game ever... people will fixate on one moment of an entire game and not the other 50+ players that led to that moment. Every single mistake that took place beforehand. Let alone the idea of the "butterfly effect". One thing goes differently at any point during the game and your team may have lost by 30 instead of 10. Theres no way of ever knowing how a game wouldve changed, regardless of the fantasies that fans have.
Your right the fumble was 😂😂😂
It was tho they get they tie it they didn't get game over
The part that's confusing to me is the way every single person ignored the Bills fans making extremely racist memes about Lamar Jackson but now suddenly, they're "classy" for coddling Mark Andrews for getting the same treatment that Lamar has received since he arrived in the league. But, ohhhhhh noooo. Not the white guy.
Right they only donated because they won they wouldn’t of did that had they lost

Where have you been ??? lol everybody was talking abt it yesterday. Stop making everything about race and just live ur life bro
Black players definitely get criticized more than white players in general but I don't think this is a good example of that. Andrews has been getting a lot of criticism for the drops and skipping out on talking to the media post-game

He doesn’t owe the fans an apology, but I’m not against it. The fans keep the game alive. Without us, you would be playing for free. No, we didn’t need an apology, but we’re not gonna just not accept one. There’s nothing to really dislike here. He felt he needed to do it. Why do you think media is there?

I think most fans have a problem with MAndrews not addressing the media after the game when he supposed to be a captain and wearing the captain patch.

It could be said the other way round fool. Fumble or all sack and we get the ball back
@@TjOlanidoesn’t matter, fact remains it wasn’t to win the game only tie it. Maybe next time Lamar takes care of the ball and they aren’t down as much as they were.

Would've of at least gave us a chance. Most people are not delusional the fact it would've tied the game.

To be fair, the pass should have been caught with 2 hands while running to the sideline.
Lamar threw it a half second late and a bit 2 soft which made Mark Andrews try to turn and catch before going out

I strictly talked about where the pass should have been caught. Kinda explaining why Andrews had to adjust
I didn’t like Andrew’s IG post neither. You messed up, own up to it. Don’t wait until everyone is all calmed down and bring it up apologizing later.
Exactly. This L is going to be on Lamar's resume more than anyone else. He already had to dap up Josh after the game and then he had to face the media alone. Mark really could've had his back. They both made big mistakes.
Aight Shay Shay you got my left eyebrow perked up, cuz you need to give that same energy to Joe Burrow for his fumbles. He will be one of the greatest but he made fumbles at crucial times in games this year. You took him to the woodshed though.
So I understand the compassion for Andrews but you need to be fair and show that same compassion for Burrow
What mark needa apologize for? It’s a game, and it’s a team game, he wasn’t the only one who turned over the ball. And that catch only would’ve tied the game not won it.
Last man to make a mistake takes the major blame. If mark catches it he gets the praise along with Lamar for the clutch td drive and two point conversion. Cmon buddy you’re smarter than this
Doesn't have to apologize. Just don't leave Lamar up there alone. They both didn't play well, man up, speak to the media and move on.
It’s the fact Lamar was up there alone knowing the media is going to only blame him.Mark should’ve spoke to the media if Lamar can speak to them you can too instead he dodge them.
Be real bruh. Andrews is 90% of reason BAL lost. 3 drops and a fumble. 2 of those happening final 2 drives.

Come on man! You know it was probably, most likely Raven fans! They the most invested and therefore the most hurt!
Bruh it’s most bettors. (REAL) BAL fans are used to losing bitterly in post season.
The only thing in-game an athlete needs to apologize for is lack of effort or losing their cool.
Should’ve just handed the ball to Henry
The fact that BAL had 3 TOs to BUF’s 0 and still only lost a chance to win the game on a dropped 2-point pass…stop with the nonsense.
Baltimore had the better team, but turnovers cost them a game they STILL almost came back and could’ve won.
John Harbaugh keeps abandoning what makes the Ravens good in the regular season.
Just absolutely love the show Unc and Ocho! Great insight in a game you guys played. Love it.
The reason why Andrews is apologizing via social media is because he didn't say anything after the game, he skipped the media session afterwards. Of course he doesn't need to "apologize" but as a Raven's fan I want to hear some sort of accountability for that horrible loss, especially from our stars.
Mark Andrews cost yall the game
@ There was enough blame to go around tbh, Lamar's fumble / INT played a huge role too. IMO the Ravens lost this game more than the Bills won it.
I felt so bad for him because I knew what the narrative would be, it is a TEAM GAME and like Beyonce said, you're never too good to lose. Mark seems like a great dude and his talent is apparent.
Mark Andrews might not be on the team, that is the worst part in this situation.
