Poseidon's care for his son would of course leave him more horrified than the other gods and goddesses who have less of a personal connection with Percy, but Apollo's reaction is so similar that it's incredibly intriguing to me. I may be reading into this too much, but among his many other domains, Apollo is the god of protecting the young, so just imagining his perspective is perfect. He failed to look after a child under his protection, who he had interacted with multiple times and not noticed anything off.
