What kind of top 5 list is this? Is it based on how it looks or the actual quality of the product? I've known Razer for being overpriced yet not good quality products company.
I play a lot of first person shooter like csgo, h1z1, and dayz/ arma and my headset right now is the turtle beach xo4 made for xbox or something and i dont think it can hear things from certain angles anyone know a good headset for pc where i can hear where everything is coming from like bullets and footsteps thanks
And that's saying something. I've now returned 3 HyperX Cloud Revolver headsets for being defect. All of them this issue where the sound would be 3 times louder than normal, and even when turned down to a minimum there would be very loud popping noises every time a sound ended, like on windows 10 when you change the volume. (Bell sound) POW! And that was ALL of them. I already own 4 other old headsets, both analog and digital. All of those work fine. Now i'm looking for something else.
the Logitech g933 is great but expensive, g633 artemis logitech is great too, instead of wireless it's wired, meaning it's about 80$ less then the g933. They're practically the same, one's wired one's not.

Did you ever try a Beyerdynamic MMX300 or Sennheiser Game Zero/One? You will change your opinion and would never recommend again a Logitech in this price range.
i wave the razor one, the sound might be nice but its not comfortable at all and its heavy and bulky, and if you want to game for longer hours i don't recommend it EVER

I have owned a pair of Astro A40's for over 5 years, this was after going through 3 pairs of head phones , all with the same fault. Astro have exceptional quality and sound, you cant go wrong with a pair.

Razer kraken is the 1st? :D I had these for a year now and their cushion pads are broken as fuck (i treat them normally and this is the first time i see this problem). These have the worst surround sound I have ever seen. These do have insanely good bass, I give you that, but the quality is total shit.

Really a Razer kraken as #1, dude I have all headsets and my favorite is the Corsair VOID RGB USB headset, razer is great at keyboards and especially mice but headsets is where they suck so bad it wouldn't even be on a top 10 list.

+RipReXx Hyper X Cloud II is shit, I bought it earlier this year hoping it would be good, but just a day ago, the USB connector broke (people have also complained about this). The mic quality was decent, but when the USB connector (adapter) for the 7.1 surround sound broke, I was forced to use the 3.5mm driver instead. Firstly, using the 3.5mm driver meant i can use it with the mobile device (which sounds alright) as well as my PC. However, you can only have it connected to either one port on the PC, the sound or mic, so that's pointless. Now back to the issue with what was breaking, every time I retried to plug in the 3.5mm driver to the 7.1 adapter, the sound would crackle, then cut off completely. It is a horrible experience because I can no longer chat with my friends via Skype or Discord and because the 3.5mm chord is wayyyyyyy to short. I'm currently waiting for my Artemis Spectrum Wireless headset to arrive because I know this has some decent reviews about it's mic quality and sound quality. It's good because I can use it on my phone and walk around the house with it while listening to Arctic Monkeys. In reality, it's expensive, but what do you want? A shitty unrecallable headset OR a sexy beast which changes colour? :^)
Cloud 2 is a very nice headset, and they are used in many cs go competitions for their realistic surround sound, they sound amazing and work well but i wouldn't say the mics good, compared to my blue snowball its very lacking but its alright for casual online games and things of that nature, as for the build quality they are very sturdy, i see someone said that the cable broke on him i never had that issue but you might want to take that into consideration, wouldn't recommend being real rough on it but that's a given.
I got the Razer Kraken 7.1 RGB for Christmas and had it returned within 3 days because it was uncomfortable as fuck (earcups way to small), had a shitty microphone and gave off static whenever audio played. Traded it in for a HyperX Cloud II and I have to say I think I made a great decision.
i own the kraken chroma 7.1's they are very good especially for how cheap they are in comparison to other headphones on this list...BUT...the fact they are usb based has caused issues, trying to get them to work with any sound coming from sound cards is difficult, especially if you want audio coming from optical (e.g. Console Audio ->Sound Card -> Headphones) virtually impossible without a good day or so trying to figure it out

I owned a razer tiamata, razer chroma, and a hyperx cloud 2 and the hyper x is the best by far, let me start off with saying the tiamata was complete shit, had decent audio but not good surround also very weak build and my broke after a few months and i treated them very well and hung them up on a headphone holder after use, the joints that meet the cans to the top band broke at the joint because the joint was a small piece of plastic that broke after a semi soft fall of 3 inches onto my desk which should never bust any headset. as for the chroma, I felt they had amazing audio and a super nice mic but were uncomfortable and had a ton of compatible issues with my computer when it came to software, the surround was good but not anything like the hyper x cloud 2, the hyper x beats out everything i owned in sound quality, comfort, and surround sound but did feel the mic was lacking.
Eww I still don't like using anything wireless for gaming just because it runs on batteries and if you're playing a shooter game or mmo, that will screw you over.

Cloud 2 is the best gaming headset currently in the price range, And they are still better than 90% of the more expensive "gaming headsets".
