  • I will show you 3 cool positions to mount the Insta360 One RS on your electric bike and how the footage looks. But, don't mount it the way that I did.
I have a better idea for next time. I will post a new video with the results!

Thanks Joey! Can't wait to get it all figured out and really start doing some cool stuff with it. I have a better clamping system that should be at my apartment right now. (I'm still at work) It will hopefully be able to allow for some amazing angles!

Pretty cool footage, Chris. You're getting really creative. I don't know if it matters on your model, but on mine, it's better to line up your camera with the horizon whenever you mount the camera flat. That way, you avoid the wonky lines that sometimes show up with 360 cams. Also, try an extended pole. I have one thats about 10 feet. You can mount it above you, and because its so high, it looks like an aerial shot from a drone. Whatever you do, I can't wait to see what comes next.

Thanks for the tips John. That pole I have extends out about 5 feet, but the mount I was using wasn't very strong.
Good to know about the horizon, I'll be learning how to use this camera for quite a while. Lots to figure out.

Really dig your channel & information you suggest on all your videos.
With wide angle lenses it will distort the image. Telephoto & long lenses usually make the image flat & 2 dimensional. Although I liked all the different angles you shot. It's all about experimenting & technique to create a style.

Thanks Frank, much appreciated! I'm just learning how to use the 360 part of the camera. Starting next month I will have a bit more time to get out and ride a lot more with it and really get some cool things going 👍
