THIS IS SO GOOD the designs are absolutely incredible. The shot when Cleo goes full Gorgon is really, really cool +I love the jump in detail to emphasize heightened emotions. The ending glitch effects are super well done as well I'm also just delighted to see an animatic for Cleo, because her DL arc was excellent but they've not gotten the attention they deserve for it
ik ive already commented on this but i wanted to say that 1) i am currently watching this every day bc im rewatching pearl's double life pov with one episode a day and this helps psyche me up to watch it bc its so so good and makes me rlly excited about double life and 2) all of the art of pearl in this but specifically the one at 2:31 with the eyes i really relate to in terms of being autistic, like how when i'm having a meltdown in public somewhere and it feels like everyone is staring at me (the eyes) and i know im probably gonna get in trouble for not doing what i'm meant to/not conceding to people's expectations of me but not really being able to do anything about it (the crown) and i don't really feel like a human from the distress i'm in and feeling rlly disconnected from my face for that same reason and not being able to control it properly (also from being trans but thats a different can of worms), and the fact that everyone else seems to be doing fine and no member of authority actually knows how to help. IDK it just really resonated with me and i wanted to share my personal interpretation of it, sorry if this is oversharing idk the etiquette with these things ;w;

Love the art style, it's cool that I can sympathize with both sides, and the backup singers are hilarious. LOVE when Cleo starts singing and she swings to summon her sword, that looks cool as hell. And someone else mentioned this, but I didn't catch it till the 2nd or 3rd watch, but the increase of the frame's detail to show stronger emotions is so good! Edit: and love the dip dance thing at the end! And the backup singers sort of switching sides is very funny.
