That memory card is homophobic for robbing us of jealous Sue. It definitely felt too straight in the first 3 min. I was like "I adore this show but this feels wrong, why are we doing this to Alice?" and then I remembered... Still, no hate, Ben is clearly a nice guy, I feel for Emily but... I wouldn't be mad. LOL
yo just wanted to say (I know it was only a small mention in this video but in case it's something you need to hear) that you don't need to justify taking care of yourself in a busy time!! I'd much rather you upload irregularly if it puts less pressure on you and helps you navigate burnout, I think I can speak for more than just myself when I say that. I'm always so happy to see you up here in whatever capacity you can be, whenever you want to be. Simple as that :)
I totally get you about the hetero couple thingy. But trust me, if you stick to the show you'll be satisfied at the end! 👀 Can't wait for your s2 reactions!
I too believe that Sue was raped by her former employer in Boston, which is part of the reason why she came back, (but also because Emily wrote and told Sue that she was dying). That is why she’s pregnant. She would not have gotten pregnant from Austin, because they haven’t had sex yet, except for the oral sex we saw in episode one. Time will tell if her pregnancy is revealed, but the seamstress obviously mentioned that she was gaining weight, and Sue was uncomfortable in that scene. Sue might be saying that she doesn’t want to have children with Austin, because of the trauma she experienced of being raped. It is never talked about, but I really believe the rape happened, because of the last scene we saw her in with her employer, where he comes into her bedroom, and locks the door behind him, looking very sinister. I also believe that if she was pregnant from Austin, she would not have hidden that huge information from Emily! So she is very conflicted about revealing her pregnancy, and therefore eager to get married quickly before it shows! Also, I believe Emily was drawn to Ben, because of his intelligence, his softness, and his appreciation of her creativity. So on a mental level they were very compatible. She kissed him because she feels equal to him? But she does Not really have romantic feelings, like she has for Sue....
Your expression every time Joseph speaks is priceless. Also Alice please don't get burnt out, it's not worth it, although you could probably do a reaction without words, just facial expressions, and it would still be entertaining
from what i understood, Sue was either sexually assaulted by the man whos kid she was nannying or its Austin's baby.. idk we never get back story into why that man was such a creep
It's Austin's baby. Alena clarified it in an interview. She said she never thought people would think it was that man's baby because the timeline doesn't fit that possibility. But honestly i also found it confusing the first time i watched the show
@@jigeumun_5503 The thing with this show is there are a lot of time jumps and it isn’t always clear how much time has passed. They’re trying to put Emilys whole life into three seasons.
HI Alice, you have to look after yourself first. We will still be here when you upload. Loved the reaction, looking forward to the finale. So much to come. On the next one.
Wtf i literally had skipped this episode and watched only season's 1 finale. Why emily is with that man? Honestly i love sue and emily together but (having also watched season 2) how many times do we have to watch her falling for random guys?
If you’re talking about Emily just once. With Ben, the only man she ever felt something for. She never felt anything about George. And I don’t recalled another guy
@@zoeaguirre404 look i wanna avoid spoilers about the 2nd season so i can't really discuss everything but now that i saw these episodes i realized that there is a recurring theme here. i still love the show tho
Will the problem is that you rushed through everything, and not only that, you kept talking and talking all through and you missed three things: most of the funny stuff ( and the actors’ performances), the intense but subtle emotional moments between Emily and Sue, and most importantly all the poems, like they never existed. I truly don’t know why you covered this show.

Season 2 is near - I am so excited for you!
6:19 so you tease us with misdirects on the predictions but then go full-blown psychic just like that?

For S2 you should find a new website to watch because the website you're using has the episodes almost colorless :((
oh yes! she should 😅 i think soap2day has the episodes in normal color scheme soap2day.to/EczoxOToiNTkyNDN8fDQ2LjE1NC40OC41MSI7.html

You really need to react on season 2!!!!

Nah, Emily is lesbian af, she just is confused about where the line between platonic and romantic love is. It is a very confusing line.
Im happy
