- This is part 16 in my ongoing video series featuring the Singer Quantum Stylist 9960. In this segment I show how to use the Singer Stitch in the Ditch Foot. I also show how to use the Singer Blind Hem Foot/Multifunctional Foot as a Stitch in the Ditch Foot. It's possible to use deco stitching, edge stitching and twin needle stitching while stitching in the ditch with the Singer Blind Hem Foot.

When my Brother SQ9050 ( which I loved ) died last week, I started doing homework on it's replacement and came across the Singer 9060 to which it's capabilities seemed to exceed an upgraded Brother model, but I was still unsure... you have completely SOLD me on this sewing machine. No matter how long I've been sewing there is always something new to learn. You should contact Singer and tell them to once again change the foot and add a groove. :) I now have the blind hem foot with the little toe...much easier to keep the fabric in line. Another great video! Thanks!

When i want to stitch in the ditch with straight lines on my sandwiched quilt , should i use this attachment or use the walking foot. Thank you for all these great tutorials .
Walking foot to help control the layers.
Hi Roxanne - I've watched all your videos and know that you mentioned using a certain type of pressed foot to create a scalloped edge to finish a project. I just can't remember which pressed foot you talked about. Please refresh my memory.

Your videos are great, however I would like to see how to thread a double needle? Maybe it was on a previous video but TH-cam skipped from video 3 to 16. I'm not sure how to get them to play in order if that's the case please tell me what video this was shown in and I'll search for it. Thanks, and again very helpful so far I haven't used a sewing machine since I was about 12 and I just bought this model.
I enjoy watching your videos. Very helpful as I just purchased this machine. I hope you can answer a question for me since you have the machine. Foot "A" has a lock button on the side that you can push when sewing heavy fabrics. Mine pops back out when I push it in. Wondering if it is made to do that or if it is broken. Thanks

Hi. I just bought my Singer 9660 3 weeks ago but the machine Is eating the fabric. do you have an idea what causes that.
Hi Bee. It could be that you're not holding the threads as you start sewing. You can also start sewing with a leader. Make sure you're using the correct needle for your fabrication as well.
can we use the blind hem foot to do an invisible zipper? or which foot should i use?
The zipper foot would be the best choice or you could purchase an invisible zipper foot. amzn.to/2ar82hW

Hi suzannedawn! Yes the 9960 comes with most of the feet I show in my videos. Please make sure all the feet are included in your package details so you won't be disappointed.

Yes the braiding foot is included with the bonus foot collection. Make sure your package has the bonus foot collection.

Hi Roxanne, How could I adjust the automatic threader? The little hook does not goes in the needle loop. Also, do you know how to open the face plate? I will greatly appreciate your prompt response If you know. Thanks a lot.
Hi Vivian! The tiny hook can be gently bent if it's been misaligned. Be gentle, it can break. Not sure what you mean about opening the "face plate"? Maybe consult a repair technician or call Singer directly for that information. Happy Sewing!!
