Valpoi Police intercept two trucks carrying 53 live pigs

Valpoi Police seized two trucks carrying 53 live pigs on Monday 27 January which were being transported from Karnataka to Goa. The trucks were intercepted at Keri Sattari. The accused were identified as Jeevan and Sagar, both hailing from Karnataka. Section 325 has been filed by Valpoi police in accordance with BNS sections 11(1)(a), 11(1)(e), 11(1)(d), 11(1)(h), and 11(1)(k) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act of 1960.
