It's so good to see you back Duncan. It's absolutely wonderful to see so many artefacts, items of clothing and other pieces of memorabilia of Elvis's life so well preserved and looked after for Elvis fans to look at and enjoy. The record player from Elvis's bedroom was an interesting item that I loved and I would assume the record on the turntable was probably a favourite that Elvis loved listening to. And i loved the red car as well. Absolutely stunning. It's good to see you had an amazing experience at the exhibition but I'm sure being able to hold some of the artefacts would feel even more special. Loved the video and thanks for sharing your wonderful experience. Elvis is the king.
Hi Duncan ♥ What a beautiful video you have made for us all to see. I started to cry again when I saw the gold telephone, I felt like I was there again. I've noticed a few things that have been added since I went. Like yourself I felt a mixture of emotions holding his belt and microphone. I felt overwhelmed and also nervous. Sadly the glasses weren't there to hold when I went. Once again well done for making a superb video Duncan. Thank you xxx 💝
Thanks for your kind comment Karen. It really was quite an experience, and one I wanted to share with other fans through the video. Thanks for watching.
Great video Duncan. Although I haven’t been fortunate enough to go this exhibit, through your video I really feel like I’ve had the best ‘virtual’ tour. On my last trip to Graceland we did the Ultimate VIP tour which meant we got to go into the archives and have a white glove experience too….awsome isn’t it. You know my passion for the jumpsuits and being able to get up close and study them in 2019 was the inspiration behind my Jewelled Jumpsuit Creations. It is so wonderful that this quality exhibition gives the same ‘feel’ as walking through the exhibits in the Graceland museums. Great stuff Duncan. Thank you
Thanks for your kind comment Lesley, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. The VIP experience at Graceland must have been amazing, we’ve only done the regular tour there in the past. It was great seeing the jumpsuits close up. It would have been even better if more of them had been on the ground, rather than high up, to allow us to walk round them close up, but I totally understand why they had to set it up like that. Your jumpsuit creations are just beautiful Lesley, and really capture the essence!
Aww, thank you David. It would have been great to have had Elvis music, but TH-cam are so strict with their copyright scanning. I thought it would be better with some music in the background. Thanks again for watching, I really appreciate it!
i went to the exibit in Bendigo Australia. Imust admit i left sceptical, becouse a lot of the jumpsuits on display were on display at graceland at the same time. Makes you wonder how many duplicates of these jumpsuits there are.
Great video, Duncan. I went to the exhibit in January. Your video really brings it all back to me. I didn't go for the "white glove" option, so your video was even more informative. Pity I didn't buy a t shirt or two!
Hi thanks Dunkin’ for sharing your memories I went to the o2 some years ago to see it did they have the head phones on as you walked round the exhibit thanks take care
They had the headphones there but I didn’t really use them, as they had Elvis music playing throughout, and I enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere. Thanks for watching.
My wife took me for my 59th birthday, we did the special and got to hold Elvis's belt & mic. Well recommend
Hey Duncan, I did get the notification, I just hadn't scrolled down far enough to see it yet. Yay. Thanks for the video! Carry on ELVIS fans!!😃💜⚡️⚡️
Hi Deb, Thank you for watching.
Great to see you back Duncan
Thanks Steve!
Hey Duncan, I had a turntable like ELVIS had, back in the 70s. I also had a 1229.😃
That’s so cool Deb!
I am the gentleman whom was handing you the items in your video, it really warms my heart to know we are doing a good job! Many thanks for visiting!
Thanks for your comment Matthew, and thanks for making it such a special day for all of us.
I'm glad that you are back, missed your shows....very well done my friend, it's wonderful that you got that experience.
Thanks for your kind words Karen, and thank you for watching.
Where are you Duncan? I’m missing your videos. Hope you are well.
It was interesting thank-you for sharing as I didn't even know this exhibition was on! My favourite Item you held was Elvis Gold Plated 70s Shades 😎
Thanks Duncan for another great video.
Thanks for your comment, and thanks for watching David.
