Heh...I honestly think this is a masterpiece of an AMV...It shouldn't be lotted in with the rest of the other ones, it honestly deserves it's own category. I've cried so many times watching the assortment of these scenes from Kyoukai No Kanata...and the music really is what tugs at my heartstrings. I hear it pick up and especially the two parts, the one at the first minute mark and the one at the end is what makes me shed the tears I do...This is truthfully beyond perfect and I watch it with a feeling of melancholy because of the mood it sets and adulation towards the creator of this content. This is the a video that will never be replaced of how it makes me feel. Thank you creator, for this skillful work, it's one of the greatest i've ever seen and inspired me to watch what is now my favorite anime.

A dear friend of mine showed me this back in I think the summer of 2017. I honestly had a bit of a crush on her, she was a bit of a weeb and a nerd and I think that's adorable. We'd chat all night long (She lives in America and I live in Finland) and one day she just showed me this. It hasn't left my liked videos since, and every time I listen to this, I remember talking about ice cream with her on a summer night. Oh how delightful it was

When I first watched this I felt genuinely scared for the guy, thinking this was a fatal attraction kind of story. This is basically what I thought was happening:
Where the girl is a ruthless murderer who fell in love with her target kinda thing. She is gathering info by tailing him around, but he catches her and they get closer. She doesn't want to kill him, but she's having trouble restraining herself so she's decided to commit suicide when her crush begs her not to because he cares about her. But she can't handle it anymore, since she is an android/robot and it is in her nature to obey the orders of her maker and tries to murder him. She's lost control, but once he talks to her? (bucket head scene was confusing for me) she regains composure? She later explains her situation/confesses to him, he accepts her, but then she takes him to her home? She is a robot who lives in another domain of time/space? (scene where she disintergrates) But he accepts this part of her, just as he does she dies? Since she couldn't bring herself to murder the target she gets killed by her maker. And is erased from everyone's memories except for his.
Turns out I was waaaaaay off. After watching an episode of the anime I realized this is nothing like what I expected. Sidenote: I was very curious to know what he told her to get her to come down from the ledge... I was surprised to find out all he did was compliment her glasses.
I can't describe what a masterpiece. It seems no one remembers this video again and a lifetime will change my mind. Maybe I will forget it, don't let this masterpiece die, I swear to god!
