I check the weather apps everyday and I tell people about it as many times a day as I possibly can. In fact I go on holiday in 2 weeks ish and I have already started look in at the weather where we are going!
Talking about the weather is very British but also Icelandic people love talking about the weather too! Well that’s what one of our tour guides told us! Apparently it’s very common in France to talk about food as daily/default convo again according to the tour guide ahah x

Texans talk about the weather a lot. Mainly because where I’m at, we can have 40-50 degree shifts in a day. Heaters on in the morning and air con on in the afternoons. Plus, we get lots of hail and tornadoes (we are on a watch for some today, yikes!) so our weather is rarely ever dull. Lots to chat about!
The weather commentary is an Irish thing too, we do it ALL the time. Drives me bonkers but I'm as guilty as the next person. As for when the clocks change in the Spring.... We're all obliged to say "there's a grand stretch" to everyone we meet!
Here in Canada we get those 4 days off too (2 of which are the weekend). Well not everyone, some folks only get 3 days. Kids don't get 2 weeks off school though. They would have just had what we call March Break, which is a week or 2 depending on the school. Summer break starts at the end of June until after labour day weekend which is in September. Other than that the only break we get is 2 weeks at Christmas and New Years...and the odd long weekend here and there.
'If it snows we all lose our minds' 😂😂😂😂 So true about Brits xxx I'm currently watching Parenthood and it's fun to watch. Same style as Gilmore Girls but with more characters.

I have 3 kids they all have a huge basket of eggs and jelly’s (iv spent a small fortune ) they all have a spring/ summer outfit each and a toy( not even associated with Easter lol usually Lego or for my older daughter make up 🙄) people think I’m mad lol and I decorate the house with bunting and bunnies and it makes me Happy and more importantly my kids love it !!!

I love in America, Phoenix, Arizona specifically, and we have something called spring break. When I was a kid it was the week of Easter. Now my children are in school and had it back in MARCH! I’m so sad they won’t celebrate it the whole week as we did. Also, Phoenix is hot like eight months out of the year. We are talking up to 120 in summer and I constantly talk about how hot it is. 😂Please watch the good girls on Netflix. It is hilarious and dramatic!
Southern charm is another good bravo program! The first series can be a slog, however the ending will make you yell! Christ it's excellent tv when you get into the frost couple of series

We are constant weather commenters in NZ. The capital is windy af! The weather can change 6 times in the course of the day depending on season. Whenever it's sunny you can almost guarantee someone you meet will utter the most annoyingly overused phrase "you can't beat Wellington on a good day!" I have no idea what the weather is meant to be over Easter (I like a little mystery in my life atm and as my babe is only 6 months we won't be doing a hunt so no issues if bad weather) but I'm looking forward to having hubby home for the long weekend (plus ANZAC day next week too). Yay for public holidays!
Lol our Easter hols have fallen in the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy 😩 could do with the 4yr old at preschool to be honest, not trying to provide entertainment! 😂 1 week tomorrow and baby will be here just in time for the weekend, then straight back to doing the school run! 😂

in the US, public schools get one week for Easter break, private schools usually get two. And many businesses close for Good Friday, but not anything retail -oriented. I miss teaching when school breaks roll around. You are very lucky to have a full, official 4-day weekend. The school breaks seem to come the week before Easter so everyone shows up bleary-eyed on Easter Monday (which isn't really a thing here) because they've had the week off & been up late for Easter. We need more holiday time. Sigh.

Why don't you hand two giant plastic sheets between the living room and kitchen like a big curtain to try and cut down on the dust. It will help keep it contained into the kitchen end of things to make it easier to clean everything at the end.
I highly recommend Riverdale & Sabrina if you liked umbrella academy you will hopefully like them both, also its kinda like real housewives but its called yummy mummies on netflix & I fricken love it 🤣

You can cook frozen chips and frozen fish fingers in the toaster by using toast bags!!

It's not a thriller or horror but Afterlife on Netflix is a great watch. I cried and laughed in equal measure. Whole series in a night
