It can't be unauthentic because that's just how it came out when I first tried singing it. I always try to sound a little bit like the original to pay respect to the creator. My voice is versatile like that, so why would I limit myself to singing just one way? Whether or not I'm trying to imitate on some level, it is still my voice making the sound. Thanks though

You nailed this man, seriously. Favorite cover so far. It's wonderful how many different vocal melody's Pinback uses over the same repeating chord structures, making it seem like a whole new section. Zach's parts always go so high, you got those perfect too.
