I’ve gotten to see Johnny Lee perform this Live with his daughter. It was so much fun. Not quite sure what got them going but something got them tickled and they giggled through part of it. Got to meet both of them and they’re both very sweet.

They made up new words to old and familiar melodies. That's how the Star Spangled Banner ended up sounding like an old British drinking song. It borrowed the melody because everybody already knew the melody. The tune you know as God Save The Queen, On this side of the Pond we know as My Country T'is Of Thee. It's the same with the song you just played. Both the one you played and the traditional story the song tells are good.
