I've worked in Physical Rehab for many years, and I cringe when I see people diving like that. We had a 20 yo who dove into the ocean his first day of vacation, hit a rock, and became a para. That's just the beginning of what I've seen. Heart breaking.
@@billbauer9795 Unfortunately, most people don't feel it will be them. We also had a gentleman we were working with who became a para because he dove into a pool. I asked him, how deep the pool was, he said 41/2 feet. I told him, I'm not trying to be ignorant, but what were you thinking diving into such a shallow pool. He was drunk, and he had done it many times before. Well, it only take that one time, I told my nieces and nephew, that is is never necessary to dive into anything, it's just too risky. I will also never ride a motorcycle, esp on the highway, because I've just seen too much. People in Healthcare live a different life, because you can't forget what you've seen and heard so many times. It's heartbreaking.
If you don't know, an iguana bite is actually really nasty, especially if you pull away quickly like that (which is obviously the natural response to getting bitten by surprise) because they have really strong jaws and pretty darn sharp teeth
I'm having a bad day. So watching other people having worse days is actually bringing a smile to my face. Thanks y'all.👍 Also, I've seen enough videos of dolphins jumping out of water slamming into people that now I believe that dolphins have amazing eyesight and a great sense of humor.
